40 weeks and a failed membrane sweep

I feel like before my sweep I was having so many contractions and everything felt like it was progressing and now after the last three days have been very quiet other then back pain on and off for a few hours and the now rare contraction, I'm a super active person and not even me moving around a shit tone is causing them and I'm worried I'll have to be induced because lil girl is hella comfy in there.

I had 6 stretch and sweeps to try and get things moving! My son was born at 41+4 through induction cause he just didn’t want to come out. I know induction sounds scary but look into it the diff induction methods and pick which one is right for you ( I did the cirvidil) and had such a positive experience

I was 40+3 with 3 sweeps before I had any strong contractions and movement. You've still got plenty time, but as Kirstyn said, look at the different options, know and understand them before the hospital start talking to you about them so that you can make a fully informed decision x

Not a good sign

Has anyone had this and babs been fine?? iv taken a test every two days since finding out on 24th - I had a private scan on 30th to check placement and she put me about 4-5 weeks and could see gestation & yolk sac.. so I should be 5-6 weeks by now but as you can see tests are getting lighter and lighter, all morning wee’s - I have a rescan on 12th and I’m dreading it now 🥺
No pain or bleeding, defo feeling the sickness
