How did you feed your baby?

I am a mother of two and was only able to breastfeed my son for two months because I got very sick after giving birth to him. My daughter I was able to breastfeed for a year and it was an magical journey! Mamas whats your story? No matter how you feed, you are absolutely AMAZING!💕

I exclusively pumped for a yr i hope to be able to breastfeed this next one!!

Avatar

I pumped for 2 months for each of my babies and formula fed. It worked great for us.

Breastfeeding exclusively for 6 months now. :) I was scared that having an emergency caesarean section would somehow affect my ability to breastfeed, but my son took to it right away and I am so happy he did; it is such a bonding opportunity, which helps me feel connected to him even though I couldn't bring him into the world myself.

I love this picture.

BF son for 4 months then started formula due to poor latch and drying up but had an over 2 year BF journey with my daughter!

Avatar

For my son it was the same only breast fed for two months and my daughter I’m currently still breast feeding 5 months strong ❤️ I stopped formula only give her formula when I’m not around

Avatar

What is the situation with the middle mother and baby? I’ve never seen that before

Avatar

Formula feeding 💖 I had a lot of trouble with ny first little girl, bad latch, cracked nipples, very low milk supply and I found my mental health was just deteriorating. My 2nd little girl arrived and I pretty much knew straight away I would formula feed, she got some colostrum but since day 4 formula and I was and am happy with my fed baby and happy mum!

Avatar

I breastfed for 1 day and switched to formula in the hospital 😊

Avatar

I breastfeed my first till about 6 months but also formula my supply was low always , and baby boy I breastfeed for about a month then I had gotten super sick and couldn’t continue but even if I would had continued my baby boy didn’t like the breast milk 😓

Avatar

Formula feeding , son is 5MO , I tried bf and did so for almost 2 months but my supply ran out . I tried everything and he was soo hungry. We went through every formula and finally found one that doesn't make him gassy or make him throw up.

Avatar

Bad latch but i wanted to brestfeed my baby so much....so I've been exclusively pumping for over a year now .... since he turned one I've been giving him whole milk too.

Avatar

I did both depending on situation. Traveling I did formula. I stopped breast feeding my girl at 7 months then stopped pumping at 9 months.

Avatar

My milk supply never came in which baffles a bunch of nurses drs and lactation consultants lol so I gave it all of one week shot while formula feeding and nothing ever came in.. dry as the desert lol so formula it was and baby is chunky and healthy

Avatar

I breastfed my 5 year old until she was 9 months. Ive currently been breastfeeding my 3 month old since birth 😇, the goal is at least till she's one.

Avatar

Breastfeeding 🤱 my little guy since day one we’re almost 9 months in and counting our goal is to make it a year

Avatar

Breast fed my twins 🖤🖤

Avatar

Baby is one month old and been breastfeeding and supplementing with formula at each feeding. Hoping I can continue to breastfeed but my supply continues to be low.

Avatar

This picture is beautiful ❤

Avatar

I exclusively breast feed my almost 4 month old daughter. Journey is going strong no sign of stopping 🙌❤

Avatar

Breastfed, pumped, and supplemented with formula off the bat due to docs and nurses fearing health issues would cause low supply which would've exacerbated baby's jaundice. The formula coupled with a posterior tongue tie did cause supply issues, but after having it revised at 6 weeks, even though I had to go back to work full time, supplemention was successfully stopped. I'm now a SAHM and have been breastfeeding on demand for 6 months. It's the most exhausting, but also most rewarding job I've ever had. I have autoimmune issues, so I'm hoping my breastmilk offers her some protection in that regard! 😊

Avatar

I’m exclusively breastfeeding my almost 6 months old. My goal is to keep bf until he’s 2! Soon starting BLW so I’m very excited ☺️

Avatar

Exclusively breastfeeding my almost 5 month old. Had loads of issues to start with: cracked nipples, bad latch, vasospasms, and pressures by health professionals to top him up with formula due to weight loss, but I persisted and am soooo glad. I’ll continue to do so as long as he wants it. 💜

Avatar

I'm the middle mama in that picture. My baby was born unable to swallow as her oesophagus didn't connect to get stomach. At 19 weeks old she's learning to feed orally, but takes very little so I have to use the tube for the rest. I use a mixture of expressed breast milk and high calories formula so she can catch up weight wise. Expressing, tube feeding and having a baby to entertain is hard work! I feel quite down about not having the option to breastfeed my baby a lot of the time. Anyone else have to feed their baby with a tube?

Avatar

Formula Bottle fed. I cant breastfeed for multiple reasons.

Avatar

I am breastfeeding and giving my 2 month old formula. I know it’s frowned upon, and I feel so guilty. But my supply is not enough for her she wants more especially in the morning. And I barely get anything pumping after feeding her. Not even a whole once. Ive tried bars, cookies, teas, pineapple juice, etc. To increase my supply. I’ve felt so much pressure and shamed from so many people. I’ve tried really hard to make it happen and now I truly hate breastfeeding because it makes me feel inadequate and prevents me from bonding with my daughter.

Avatar

I really wanted to breastfeed but I had to walk away at 10 days. It was complication after complication. Now my little man is formula fed.

Avatar

My oldest daughter I breastfed her for 2 1/2 yrs. Would have been longer but it started to be painful and I had to start work. Currently still breastfeeding my youngest daughter 3months strong.

Avatar

Both! Combination fed as she didnt latch on for a while then did then refused my breasts about week 13. Very happy and healthy baby

Avatar

I am breastfeeding my 14 month old baby, I breastfed my now 5 year old until he was 18 month (one day he woke up and he was done) and my almost 7 year old I breastfed her for a month she was constantly hungry I had no life, up till this day she eats like an adult so she was bottle fed.

Avatar

I’m still breastfeeding my almost 18 month twins :)

Avatar

I breastfed my daughter for a little over 2 years

Avatar

Combi fed for first couple of weeks then just on formula now. Went into it all with an open mind as didn't mind how my wee man got his food as long as he was eating 😅❤️

Avatar

When he was first born he wouldn't latch properly so I did a combination of pumping and formula for the first two weeks (when I was completely exhausted) then when we reintroduced breastfeeding he took off. But he refused bottles, so it made going out really hard until he started purees at 6 months and solids at 7/8 months. Now we're still going strong breastfeeding (at almost a year!) But the first 3 months were so stressful breastfeeding. It took a toll mentally and physically. Now he's a bottomless pit when it comes to eating.

Avatar

I wanted to breastfeed. I had so many complications with it. I pumped for about 3 month and eventually went to formula.

Avatar

I did a combination of bestfeed n formula until 6weeks thn just formula

Avatar

Exclusively pumped for 6 months!

Avatar

Still exclusively breastfeeding my son at 10 months and planning to continue breastfeeding til 2 years!

Avatar

3 months into exclusively breastfeeding my youngest son! Even continued feeding him threw having sepsis just after giving birth to him, thought to myself if I could get through being so unwell and still feed I can get through anything🥰. I did exclusively formula feed my first though! And the to be honest the bond between me and my boys isn’t any different, they are both crazy mamas boys💙

Avatar

I breast feed my first for 22 months I got sick and was pregnant so I think my milk dried up. Had my second and started breastfeeding both till my oldest was no longer jealous of it. As long as he could have the expressed milk he didn't care to nurse. I breast fed my second son till 30 months. I stopped because my doctor want to switch up my pills and I couldn't be on them while breast feeding. I pumped and donated over 6000 ounces to different milk banks and parents over those 3 years. To help other mothers too.

Avatar

I breastfed my daughter the first few weeks, then had to start supplementing with formula. My milk supply dried up at 7 mo, so she’s completely formula fed now. She’s happy, healthy, and thriving.

Avatar

Formula but not through choice, my breasts had it all sitting there but it wouldnt come out and i had so many issues and bleeding and n so much pain i gave up

Avatar

I’ve exclusively pumped for 8 months now 🙂

Avatar

I pumped and formula fed in the beginning cause the first few days she had a oxygen hood and wires so that’s all we could do. Then I added breast feeding but mostly stuck with pumping and formula cause that’s what she was used to. Now she’s 8 months and she’s on formula and solids.

Avatar

Formula and breast milk in a bottle for the first 3 months cause she was 6 weeks preemie and we had to keep track of her intake/weight gain. Then breastfeeding after that

Avatar

I breastfed my son for 18 months. At the time he weaned i was so ready but i kind of wish I would of kept going.

Avatar

Been exclusively breastfeeding my baby now for 5 months and loving it, hoping to get to a year

Mama needs new friends ✨

Hey mamas 🤍 I'm going to be honest — I'm at a season in my life where I'm craving real, genuine friendship. The kind where we actually check on each other. Where conversations go both ways. Where we can laugh, vent, cry, and just *be* without it feeling one-sided.

I'm a stay at home mom of 6 (yes, 6! 👏🏼) and my days are full but my cup feels a little empty in the friendship department. I'm looking for women who get it — the chaos, the beauty, the exhaustion, all of it.

If you're a mom who values deep, reciprocal friendship and you're also out here looking for your people — drop a 👋 below. Let's actually get to know each other. 🤍

Really embarrassing!
I'm a first time mummy at 35, she's 16 month and everytime I sneeze or cough I lose control of my bladder and pee a little 😔, I've had countless utis since having her aswell! Will it get better? Or do I need to invest in panty liners? 😆

Friends??

Heyy!! My name is Marie I’m 24 and I’m a ftm and sahm to a 5 month old baby boy🩵. I find it really hard to make/keep friends 😅. Honestly I’m kinda inconsistent, like we could text for days and suddenly I stop texting for a while (hence why it’s hard to keep friends) but I will always be there and answer whenever you text!! I’m from MA but I’m down to lone distance friendships🫶🏽
