Anyone else??
I’ve never been one to give into the whole gluten free lifestyle or intolerance. Not saying its not real but personally I just don’t think that is one underlying cause for a lot of things. But since becoming pregnant I have been realizing that when I consume things like bread (bagels, sandwiches, pizza, ect) I have been getting worse and worse abdominal pains and bloating. Today I had eaten literally nothing and felt so good all morning. I’m 6 months along. I didn’t feel bloated or achy and was having a better morning than I’ve had in quite some time. Then I took my mother to her hospital appointment and realizing I hadn’t eaten and was hungry, went to the bagel shop downstairs. Since I had that bagel, I’ve been doubled over in crampy stomach pains and feel distended. It wasn’t until today I’ve realized that I seem to get that way whenever I eat anything wheat or grain based. Never really put the two together before because I usually would eat a range of foods so I never would pin point what would make me feel this way. But lack of options today I knew it could only be the bagel. Has anyone else experienced this?

Omg I thought this was just me!

I had bad bloating early in pregnancy whenever I ate gluten. I just tried to cut back x

I was a little sensitive before I had my son. But after, I’m VERY sensitive. It upsets my stomach so bad, causing cramps and gas and bloating. I’ve had to cut out basically all of it because it makes me so miserable.

Are you eating said bagel with cream cheese or butter? More than likely you might be getting lactose intolerant. Gluten intolerance is not that common especially if you've never had it before. Lactose intolerance can develope in your twenties if you're not born with it
