Need some prayers

I went to the hospital Fri night for bleeding. Turns out I have placental abruption, about a 3cm spot. Baby also has an arrythmia, or as the doctor described it, a "heart hiccup". Basically his heart goes 3 normal beats, then misses a beat, then has a double beat.
My contractions were 2-5mins apart all night and all day. They've died down now, or at least they're not so painful.

I want to get my c-section and get this over with. I'm scared to go home with a placental abruption.

I've had 2 hour-long ultrasounds and 2rounds of steroids to boost baby's lungs. I haven't slept since Thursday night and I'm in so much pain. They've given me morphine twice, but no consistent pain meds.

I'm tired, mentally, emotionally, physically, everything. I'm drained. I can't keep going like this. I really want this baby out! But if they won't do that hopefully I get to go home tomorrow and sleep in my own bed!!!

Is there a reason your dr won’t induce you since technically you are full term at 37 weeks and obviously baby’s heart is acting up..

Praying for you and little man!!!! Your almost there and you will be holding him soon!

Side question... any way to ask for a second opinion? Seems... unnecessary to make you go to 39 weeks all things considered.

I had my baby at 37 weeks and she was perfect. How strange your doctor won’t do a c-section, I feel like that’s safer than waiting.
But you and baby are in my thoughts💗

I find it odd he wont do the c-section. My youngest was born at 37 weeks and 5 days. Roughly. She was a peanut and weighed 5lb 9oz and other then jaundice, she was perfectly healthy. And i had her naturally. She wasn't induced. My third child i had induced at 38 weeks and 3 days because he was a big one. But if your baby is having heart issues and you're already considered to be at full term and you are in a lot of pain and discomfort, a c-section should be acceptable.

Wow, that's a lot all at once. I'm sorry 😔 😔

Thoughts and prayers are with you guys.
Hopefully, you'll come on here and update us that you've had the section and you're both fine x

I’ll be praying for you. They discovered my little guy had a heart arrhythmia when I was 36 weeks. They checked it out when he was born, and it was all fine. Don’t worry much about it. When he was 6 months, we saw a cardiologist, and she said he’ll grow out of it. Even if he doesn’t, it won’t harm him.

I’ll keep you and baby in my prayers🙏🏽 and everything will be fine love.

Update... C-section in a couple hours!!!! I'm so glad, cuz I really didn't wanna go home with placental abruption AND contractions

Yay!!! Good luck abi!!!! We can’t wait to see the little one! ❤️

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Homebirth?

I am thinking I want a homebirth (second baby) for a few different reasons but my husband is very against it, he is worried about things going wrong and we are a 30 minute drive from the hospital. Has anyone been in a similar position and what did you end up doing? Any advice? 🙏
