Baby not pooping!

My baby just turned 4 months old and she used to have like 8-10 poops a day. Over the last month and a half she started pooping very infrequently...like every 2 weeks. She’s now at 3 weeks with no poop but tons of wet diapers, isn’t in any pain, doesn’t have a hard belly, and when she does go it’s very soft. She does fart a lot though. We went to her doc today and she said she should be pooping every other day and to try some diluted prune juice. Also she’s exclusively breastfed. Does anyone else’s babies experience this?? She doesn’t seem constipated but her doctor says it’s not normal and she doesn’t know why she’s be going so infrequently, I don’t want to freak out but as a FTM I want to make sure she’s healthy as can be 🙂

I was told EBF babies can go a long time between before pooping, my LB is 6months and have had spouts lately of none purely cuz he’s on solids now and prunes have helps us with movement of the doctor has recommended it try it but dilute it with boiled cooled water x

After 6 weeks EBF babies can go up to 10 days without pooping
I personally wouldn’t give her prune juice that young but that’s just my opinion

How are you finding initial latch any clicking noises when nursing or leaving your nipples lipstick shaped? and how’s weight gain? Xx

I don’t know why your dr is saying that!!! Breastfed babies can go over a week without pooing!! Also the consistency changes so much! My 7 mo has gone from lots a day to now only every few days sometimes once a week. 🤷🏼‍♀️ they are growing and teething and so everything is changing constantly. Listen to your instincts.

But this is 3 weeks no poop.

Maybe her doctor thinks she is formula fed? They poop a lot more often than breast fed babies. That’s the only reason I would think her doctor would say that!! Like the other mamas said. I wouldn’t worry about it at this stage. She should be fine especially if she doesn’t ever seem uncomfortable.

I too am a FTM and EBF my little one. She just turned 4 months and now is going 5+ days without pooping. Never acts like she’s in pain and passes a larger amount when she finally is ready. My dr told me that was totally normal. It feels very weird when they start going so infrequently. Glad I’m not the only one!

Bottle refusal

EBF and deciding I want a bit more flexibility so wanted to introduce a bottle so I can go out more.

She used to take one three months ago. Now she flat out refuses and cries - doesn’t matter if it’s expressed breastmilk or formula. Tried it in a sippy cup as well. What can I do?

shower infront of children

Is it weird to shower infront of your children, or your children see you naked?
At what age should this stop?

I’m just looking at what everyone’s thoughts are as I have a 7 month old and at the moment it’s hard for me to shower without him getting upset.

We contact nap atm, otherwise I'd shower when he sleeps!

It’s easier to bring his play mat into the bathroom whilst I shower so i can at least wash, else i have to wait for my husband to arrive home at 5/6pm.

Keen to see what people's opinions are and how other people do this!

GIRL DADS TAKING DAUGHTER TO BATHROOM IN PUBLIC

If a girl dad needs to take his daughter to the bathroom in public and there are no family bathrooms … I swear video online of a dad saying he uses the women’s bathroom but always knocks and announces ‘girl dad helping my daughter go to the bathroom’ and I love that idea and mens rooms are disgusting but wanted to see everyone’s thoughts
