Aches and signs baby dropped.

Hi everyone. I’m starting to have more frequent aches in the lower muscles leading to my private area. Not sure if they’re Braxton Hicks or not. They’re not very painful, more so uncomfortable. Is this a sign my baby is dropping? I’m almost 38 weeks.

It’s normal your body is preparing for baby’s birth. The relaxin that releases into your body loosens everything so it’s normal to feel a bit sore as your hips widen. You could be having Braxton hicks but they’re usually painless and you can tell if your belly gets really hard then soft again that’s Braxton Hicks. There’s a lot going on right now to prepare your body for birth if your 38 weeks your baby should be descending downwards the closer you get to baby’s arrival. Best of luck to you 💕

Any guesses?

I just had my 12 week scan today! Any fun guesses on the gender using the nub theory? 🥰

Emergency scan

Hi! I went to triage on Saturday night for reduced movement as I hadn’t felt baby all day. I was checked over with Doppler etc and sent on my way - midwife said everything was great.

I’ve just been called by the hospital that I’m booked in for an emergency scan and it’s just taken me by surprise. Has anyone else experienced this?

C section with a 2 Yr old

Please be honest how much of a struggle is this? I am worried, I'm currently 34 weeks but struggling to walk bc of my pelvis, it's already difficult having to run after her and with the tantrums etc
Any tips ??

How does everyone do it

I’m 8 weeks pregnant and have a 3 year old and I can’t even get out of bed without being sick, can’t even stand for longer than 2 minutes, my toddler is basically living on snacks as I can’t get out of bed to cook, I can’t even take him to nursery I feel terrible, I’m only 8 weeks and have so much longer to go 😭

Birth plan

Debating between natural birth vs C section.
Labour lengths, recovery times afterwards, control involved in a c section, pregnancy again after c sections.. give me your experiences/opinions. 😊
(Also, if the hospital was 1.5 hours away would that affect your decision)

Early labour?

Im really unsure if what I’m having is the start of labour or just digestive pains? I’ve been getting sharp/crampy pains across my abdomen and back which come and go every 10/15 mins, not really typical period like pains yet but they are very noticeable. I feel like it’s been getting more painful since this morning, but at the same time I’m having diarrhoea and nausea. The only difference I’ve noticed is the pain is not going away after going to the toilet or position changes. I’m going to call triage but I thought to wait and see a few more hours. BTW I’m 37 weeks
