Retroverted uterus 😫

Anyone else have a stupid uterus?! Lol I’m supposed to be 6 weeks and 3 days today, I had my first OB appointment and although she was able to see the gestational sac because of the way that my uterus sits she kind of could see some fuzziness in the corner of the sac but it was very hard to make out so she sending me for a full sonogram, so we couldn’t find the heartbeat 🥺 anyone else have to go through this? With my daughter they had the same issue in the beginning but since I was on Medicaid they didn’t do anything but make me wait until the baby was bigger. Anybody else go through the sonogram?

Sooooo I have a retroverted uterus my US tech found out because she tried to do the ultrasound on my belly and she’s like nope sorry I’m going to have to have you take off your pants we can’t see anything this way 😂 there was no problem she was able to see the baby fine.

I have a retroverted uterus and I am 8+3. I had an ultrasound at an ultrasound boutique on 31st. We could see the baby, but it was difficult to see. I have a dr. Appointment tomorrow and they will conduct an ultrasound. I will let you know how that goes. More than likely, it’s just because you are only 6 weeks along; I think in a few weeks you’ll be able to see the baby more clearly. Good luck!

I have a retroverted uterus and they were able to see the lil one at 6w6d and found the heartbeat. But its also not abnormal to not see the heartbeat that early.

I have a tilted uterus and I am hoping that doesn’t effect their ability to find the baby and hear a heartbeat! I have my ultrasound in 2 weeks (I’ll be 8 weeks at that point). Good luck!

Update: so I went to my appointment yesterday and got bad news regarding the baby’s size and heartbeat. They said the baby is measuring at about 6 weeks and they couldn’t hear a heartbeat.
My conception dates could be wrong, but I am still worried. The baby is sitting way back in the uterus, so it was hard to vaginal probe. They are going to have me back in a week and I am praying that the baby has grown and the heartbeat is apparent.

shower infront of children

Is it weird to shower infront of your children, or your children see you naked?
At what age should this stop?

I’m just looking at what everyone’s thoughts are as I have a 7 month old and at the moment it’s hard for me to shower without him getting upset.

We contact nap atm, otherwise I'd shower when he sleeps!

It’s easier to bring his play mat into the bathroom whilst I shower so i can at least wash, else i have to wait for my husband to arrive home at 5/6pm.

Keen to see what people's opinions are and how other people do this!

GIRL DADS TAKING DAUGHTER TO BATHROOM IN PUBLIC

If a girl dad needs to take his daughter to the bathroom in public and there are no family bathrooms … I swear video online of a dad saying he uses the women’s bathroom but always knocks and announces ‘girl dad helping my daughter go to the bathroom’ and I love that idea and mens rooms are disgusting but wanted to see everyone’s thoughts

Dummies

What’s everyone’s views on dummies? Are you planning to use them and if so at what age ? I am breastfeeding and my midwife said to avoid them as it might effect feeding but baby is feeding really well now and he has now found his thumb to suck for comfort ! I would prefer him to use a sterilised dummy than his hands that might carry germs but he is only 3.5 weeks not sure if it’s too early ?

Ebf bottle refusal

I want to introduce a bottle so my partner and mum can feed baby every so often but she hates it! Have tried breast milk and formula and am using mam bottles. She also isn’t a fan of dummies. Goal is to give her formula as I hate pumping!
