My daughters going to start going preschool beginning of next year and I was wondering what you mummas think are must haves to send them in with?
Thanks in advance x

Clothes that u don't care if they get ruined! The paint does NOT come out!
Bag with a change of clothes x2
Wellies that can be left there
Spare shoes just incase she has an accident and it goes down to her shoes
If still in nappies, enough for the day & wipes - write her name on the wipes
However, if she's still in nappies, I'd be encouraging her to start toilet training.
They provide a water bottle for them with their name on
Make sure everything u send her in is labeled - we've lost a couple items & had had other ppls clothes in her bag!
Are they providing lunch or do u send her with packed lunch? Most settings are nut free so no products that may contain nuts & don't let her eat anything on the way that may have nuts either.
They should provide u with a welcome pack that tells u all of this though

I would recommend loads of change of clothes, nappy stuff (if still in nappies) I'd also make sure she has indoor and outdoor shoes only because I work on a nursery and our garden is muddy in the winter so to make sure the indoor shoes stay clean we get them to change their shoes and put coats on for outside. (This is also great for supporting their independence with putting their shoes on)
Make sure everything is labelled aswell as it's so easy to forget who's is who's.
Hope this helps.

I work in a nursery pre school and the most important thing is plenty of spare clothes (clothes that aren’t ‘special’ and you don’t mind possibly staining)! Including everything: underwear, trousers, T-shirt’s (long and short sleeves), socks and I’d say at least 3 spares of each just to be safe. It’s likely they will be doing lots of messy play, outdoor play and possibly have accidents so it’s always helpful to send more in.
Also, label everything you send in for them to wear!
Wellies are also very handy for wet weather!
I hope this helps x
