Second pregnancy! Scared af

Ah that's amazing, so exciting! I was secretly hoping this would happen and we could squeeze another baby in before our wedding but no such luck 😂 two around the same age will be lovely ❤

Oh man. One year apart certainly feels daunting and I’m sure will be tough at times, but once they’re both out of toddler years, I bet the close age difference will be really awesome for them!! Congrats!! 🥰

Congratulations! My little girl was born April 2020 and I found out I was pregnant again in August 2020! There will be just over 12 months between them. I’m so excited but equally scared. I bought a book called The Second Baby Book and that’s really helped me calm down and prepare for all the changes and challenges coming up. Aww congratulations to you. It will be fine. I have three kids quite close together in age. It is tiring but wonderful. My oldest is 4 next month. He is 21 months older than his brother. His brother is 2 and is 20 months older than there wee baby sister. The boys have such a close bond and dote on there wee sister. I wish you all the best x

Now I’m just mega excited! Everything my little one does now I just imagine getting to go through all the milestones again with a new baby and it’s really exciting to think about having two little peaches causing mayhem 😂❤️

I have 11 months between my youngest two and Omg 😳 it’s hard but once you get into routine then you will be fine- also my LG started walking shortly after her brother was born so was a bit easier as she can get where she wants to go easier while I’m feeding etc and doesn’t get frustrated coz she waiting. Make sure you have plenty of support. Make sure you sleep when you can (advice I never took, or could as I have two older ones too 10 & 12)

Do what you have to do to get by and make things easier for you.

And lastly remember- they won’t be babies forever! Xx

Congrats you'll be fine. A little tough in beginning. Your even closer together than mines my daughter was 8 months when I conceived my 2nd. They're 18 months apart. The best thing that could of happened though. They're very very close. Now baby #3 on the way almost 4 years later.

Your gonna be fine! I had my first baby December 1st 2012 & on may 15th 2013 I found out I was pregnant again. About 2 months. My second was born December 24th 2013. I love that they are so close in age. Wouldn’t have it any other way. Congratulations mama 🥰

I had my first 2 boys with a year between them. It was hard work at first, especially with the eldest one not walking and still wanting carried but I found organisation and routine to be the key. I got them to nap at the same time which was a lifesaver! They are now 2 and 3 and best friends and we have just welcomed their little sister into the chaos 3 weeks ago... They are besotted with her! X

I was three months when my mom got pregnant with my sister, and she did an amazing job with raising us. You will do great as well and congrats on your bundle of joy arriving soon!

Ah this is my biggest fear of happening. I’m sure it will be ok because it has to be and you will find your routine but omg I can’t imagine it. I already struggle with 1!!

I have Irish twins they were born in the same year one in jan 2010 and one in dec 2010, my older one was only 6 weeks old when I got pregnant with the 2nd one! They are now the best friends and hopefully will grow up close all their lives! X

I have 1 minute between my second and third, they’re twins 😂 you will be fine. I had 3 under 2 years for a bit (but now 3 under 2.5 years). Its hard but love them all and so worth it.

It’s okay to be scared and excited. Feel it and move forward. I had my two very close together as well. Everything will be okay. Things will be rough at times but you got it. Organization and pacing yourself and self care are key.

In the same situation my little boy is almost 5 months and and I’m about 8 weeks pregnant. Very tough situation but I think it’s really good the more I think about it they’ll be learning close to each other and growing with each other start school and nursery close together. Once they’re old enough they’re both old enough pretty much xx

My baby is 11 months and I’m around 10 weeks pregnant. It was planned I really wanted another one and been speaking about it for ages. Some people say I’m mad but I love babies 😂 I know it’s a bigger age gap than yours but honestly you’ll be fine you are already in a baby mode!

Can this still happen when you exclusively breast feed? I'm pregnate with my first, due in 6 weeks, and I plan to breast. I'm 36 and want to start trying for my second baby as soon as I can, biological clock and all of that 🙂

This is what happened to me, except my daughter was already a year old when I got pregnant. I genuinely wish you luck. I know how intimidating it feels, but think about how now your little one will have someone to play with now!

Mama I understand your feelings your not alone my first is 10 months and have just found out i am pregnant. I panicked but at time is going by i am excited and can’t wait to see him/her.

My friend had 4 babies all born in January a year after each other and she found it easier having a year between them instead of the 2 year gap she had between her 1st baby. Congratulations and good luck! Xx

You can absolutely get pregnant while exclusively breastfeeding! Some people won’t get their cycles back until they stop - but lots of people do get pregnant. It’s not a birth control you can count on!

Also Irish twins - I nannied a pair full time (the first was 13 months when the second was born) the first year was hard. Now they are 10 and 11 and close friends. After that first year it wasn’t too bad at all. Being developmentally so similar made it super easy to plan activities they would both like!

Congratulations! I’m pregnant with second too. My first is nearly 11 months old and I’m 10 weeks pregnant. We decided not to wait long as I’m nearly 35 and didn’t want a big age gap between my children. However, I’m incredibly nervous about it! I will probably need another c section and my partner is disabled and waiting for an operation so life is already quite tuff. Add the intensity of lockdown onto that, so little support from family/ friends and I do worry sometimes how we’ll manage. But, I also feel very blessed. It will all be fine 😊♥️
