Feeding Fussiness

My formula fed 11 week old has suddenly become fussy with feeding. He’ll latch really well, drink a little and then almost get bored/lazy and play with the teat in his mouth. He’s already on a medium flow teat and we tried other teats but it was the same. We know he’s hungry due to his cues and he eventually drinks ...

Potty training

For those of you who drive and have potty trained, what did you do in the car seat in the first few days when accidents are bound to happen? Don’t want the car seat to continuously be soiled as it takes a while to clean and dry! Want to go from nappies straight to pants so wont have any protection whilst in the seat

Food portion

I’m taking LO out into London tomorrow and have prepared him some vegetarian fried noodles. Do you think this portion is enough for a 14.5mo? Imagine a 1/3-1/2 full round box takeaway container. The container looks fuller than it actually is because I put crispy onions on top 😇

Tonies characters- what’s the best ones?

What’s the best tonies characters for a 3 year old? We use it for when she wakes up, so she can play and listen to it first thing as she wakes up really early!! These are the ones she has, she prefers ones with music. There’s so many out there that I get so overwhelmed picking what to get 😅😅 She doesn’t like…

Did your partner change after kids?

Mine is so moody. I actually don’t like him very much at the moment. He’s also useless with the kids. I do it all and have so much resentment towards him.

WIBTA if we put our 3.5yo back…

…in nursery an extra day after we pulled her out? Context; we had our second 2 months ago and the 3.5yo has entered the extreme screaming era and it’s becoming unbearable. She’s currently in nursery Tuesday-Thursday, she used to be in Mondays too but we pulled her out a month after baby arrived to save money and be...

Does anyone else do everything for the kids and around the house?

I’m sick of it. This morning I made breakfast for everyone, fed the baby, did a wash, washed up and then my bf moaned his tea was too milky while sat on his phone. I’ve asked him to put a few child locks on a few cupboards today and he can’t cos he’s “too hungover”. I pick up the slack every single day and I’m s...

Gravy

My boy enjoys a small amount of gravy with a roast dinner/ sausage, mash and veg meal. He has gravy on average once every 2 weeks or so which is the reduced salt gravy and very watered down. I didn’t realise until recently you’re meant to avoid gravy until 1! The very small amount surely causes no harm, there’s mo...

Make them more independent

My daughter just started daycare at 2 years and 2 months. Her teachers told me that she’s not as independent as other kids in her class. Gave me an example that she can’t wash her hands with soap and water on her own. I agree with her because we have been doing most things for her at home up until now. I am a FTM an...

I don’t have a job that takes me cool Places, I don’t have hobbies where I can leave my son and go play out side. I always put my son first an...

Would you let your husband travel to a different country (his home country) with your baby for a week ?

So I'm going back to work tomorrow, twice a week. And unfortunately I feel weird about asking for time off already as I just came back. My partner sort of needs to travel urgently/last minute to see family due to health and he would like our daughter to go with him as well so family members can see her as last time...

Would you prefer a small licensed in home daycare or a big chain daycare?

The small licensed in home daycare would be passing all inspections, communicates with the family throughout the day and has cameras.

Is my 14 month old eating enough?

Advice needed, my baby is not eating that well. He is a fussy eater and does not like some textures (e.g he will refuse meat and pasta/rice etc). Could anyone advise if he is consuming enough. This is an example of what he ate today: Morning: Breast milk, fruits, few spoons of porridge. He threw his toast on the fl...
