Is it concerning that my child isn’t interested in solids?

my fresh 7 month old still only takes formula. I’ve tried introducing solids many different times, from puree to blw (giving her bits of food for sensory play) but she just has this look of disgust on her face every time. is that normal? at what time should I call for early intervention with the pediatrician if she’...

*Satire* Tell me I'm not alone on this pilgrimage of stupidity?

I never knew I was this silly until my 6 year old told me the little table in a pizza box was to stop the lid touching the pizza and getting soggy..... 😂🙂😂

What is going on? 😩

My son will be 2 in two weeks, and for the last couple of weeks he has been quite tough to deal with. He has suddenly refused to eat at dinner times, no matter what it is and he may only eat a couple of mouthfuls and that’s it; or he just wants to be sat on someone’s lap and be fed, same with breakfast. I also have...

Bit of a random one but if your toddler asks for crisps at 830am do you let them have them or tell them they are for lunch?

My little boy always seems hungry in the mornings. He has a big bowl of cereal followed by a slice of toast or a bagel ect. By 830 he is then asking for biscuits or crisps. I don’t really know how to go about this as I don’t want to keep giving him everything he asks for. I try to offer alternatives like fruit or so...

Weaning

I don't understand how some Aug babies are already having 3 meals a day and snacks. I was under the impression it's just one at 6 months then up to 2 at 7 months. How come some are different? My baby is big for her age but I'm sticking to guidelines and I don't know if I'm doing something wrong when I come on here a...

My husband & I eat out so much that our son isn’t eating the healthiest foods. He’s stuck with the same foods & idk what to cook sometimes. I need to ...

9 months old not eating solids

Is anyone’s LO having a slower transition to solids? My 9 month old literally pushes his tongue out at the sight of solids. I keep offering, but I feel like I’m failing as a mum. Is it too early to ask his dr about feeding therapy, I don’t know if he’s struggling because he only has 2 bottom teeth. It’s really weigh...

First day in daycare

Hi mamas, my 22 month old went to daycare today for the first time. When I picked her up, they told me she did not eat anything at all. Also that she doesnt know how to use utensils and drink from an open cup and the rest of her class do it. Do your babies use utensils and open cups?

What should I do…..

My husband has a nasty habit of picking his toenails. (I am not gonna lie I bite my nails, BUT I THROW THEM IN THE TRASH!!!!!). So he throws them where he is sitting. The floor, the living room couch, the bed, the bathroom, anywhere in my house you will find them. I have asked him over and over to stop he won’t. I h...

Dropping food… again!

My daughter is throwing handfuls of her food onto the floor at the moment. My mum was with us for tea tonight and couldn’t believe I didn’t tell her off for it. But I thought we should just ignore it at this age? I’m not sure I want to tell her off as I really want her to enjoy being in her highchair and mealtimes. ...
