Dummies/Pacifers

My first didn’t take one so this is new territory for us. Our 2nd took to one straight away and has been a godsend with the reflux. My first on fell to sleep on the boob. He will gladly/easily fall asleep with the dummy/pack but now we’re coming up to 6 months I’m seeing info that suggests weaning off so that he’ll ...

Baby only wants to contact nap

Hi all. Advice needed please. My little one is almost 12 weeks and only wants to contact nap on me/husband or in the sling. He is fine in his snuzpod at night. I feel like I made a rod for my own back as my dad passed away when baby was 3 weeks old and so for the few weeks of his we were going back and forth to my...

He seems to only do it to me really not his dad or anyone else just me and earlier I thought to myself I know it’s onl...

Bedtime query

LO is coming up to 3 months so I'm planning on starting a proper bedtime routine. I see loads of posts on here where people have one already and LO goes to bed around half 7-half 8, but what are you doing then? I thought you weren't supposed to leave them alone sleeping until 6 months, so do you just go to bed then ...

In February I went back to work for 3 days and during the day she is fine drinking cows milk and then I come home give my milk and then milk before bed. However this past month she’s had vomiting and diarrhoea so she went...

16 month old talking

Hi so obviously I understand all babies are different and go at their different places but I was just curious to see how many words your babies are saying? My little girl says roughly 7-9 that I can remember but google says they should be saying atleast 16 by now and I was just curious if others are in the same boa...

Self settling

I don't get how it is possible to teach my baby to self settle when they just roll around the cot. Do you just leave them to do that until they're bored of it and tired? Does it not take hours? Sorry I'm confused! 😂

Reusable Diepers ?

This is for someone who would like to try them. I switched to reusable after baby turned 5 months, slow transition, he is now 10 months and I only use them .I don't why I was scared to do it ,it’s not that complicated and hard. Now I just find myself really liking them. Like that feeling of sanitizing your hands vs ...

Expecting my second boy!

The prices of bottles are expensive this second time a round! I’m having a 36/37 week old premature baby due to severe health problems this pregnancy, I’m on SSP because of this, so money is tight! Wondering if a Newborn would be okay drinking from an 8oz bottle? (With an age appropriate teat) …or should I go with ...

Question

This is probably really weird, but we know nipple stimulation and feeding helps increase milk supply? I was wondering, since my baby won’t latch on to me much anymore and I’m not producing enough pumping, if I let her dad ‘feed’ from me for a bit if it would help with my milk?? Since he can ‘suck’ harder than my p...
