34- 36 weeks Ultrasound

Hi friends,

I am 29 weeks! Just found I need to schedule for Ultrasound btw 34-36 weeks!! The receptionist said it's for baby growth!! My ob didn't mention any things about it!! I just shocked when I found I have this ultrasound order!!(through message alarm!!)
Is it common to have ultrasound in 34-36 weeks?!
I'm worried if there were some problem with my baby and they didn't told me 🥺

Yup! I’m getting one tomorrow at my 34 week check up this is where they will check to see if baby is in position to come out and get measurements/weight usually if you are not high risk it’s normal to have ultrasound at 8weeks, 20 weeks and then around 35 weeks 🙂

I’m also scheduled to have one at 34 weeks to check for growth and position. Im not high risk, I guess my OB does it for all of his patients

Hey Love it’s completely normal I’m 31wks Friday I’ll be 32 weeks and every two weeks I have an appointment with my obgyn till I’m 34wks after that it’s every week till the baby gets here but I get a ultrasound every time I go into my check up! Hope this helps!!!

Yep 👍🏽 I get them because of my age (I’m 36), I’m actually glad to get these extra ultrasounds!

Yup, totally routine to have a growth scan towards the end of pregnancy!

I won’t have another ultrasound.. 20 weeks was my last. They are able to feel baby is head down and ready to go back at week 30. He hasn’t flipped around since so they don’t need me to be checked!

My doctor also asked me to schedule one at 34 weeks for two reasons 1) the umbilical cord was angled (not directly upright) and 2) baby was in 90th percentile during last US. They want to check on baby’s growth for both of those reasons.

What did everyone pack for their section? I'm staying in for 3 days due to mental health, not really sure what I'll need to bring, feeling very nervous. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Pregnancy after c section

What time scale did everyone get pregnant again after a c section?
I know the doc said they recommend eating at least a year to 18 months but it took 4 years to get pregnant the first time after being told we could not conceive naturally so not wanting to stop it happening knowing it could take a very long time again but also worried.

Labour

Think im a bit confused really, i went into traige as was having contractions eveey 3-5mins. Since being here im now having them every 2-3mins which was confirmed with the machine and i think the toco was 90-100 and they feel painful and my lower back is in loads of pain but apparently im only just over 2cm dilated maybe, she has said i can stay here for a bit longer to see if things progress as had a previous quick birth as well but i dont understand why the pains are coming this quick if im only 2cm dilated and feel a bit deflated from it also.

I had a sweep this morning also.

Reduced movements

26 weeks and haven’t really felt little baby all day, she’s usually super active & I have a posterior placenta so I feel her all the time usually. I did feel her ever so briefly earlier right down into my pelvis. I was at maternity triage the other night with tummy cramps but everything was fine and so was baby. What should I do? I don’t want to feel like a nuisance?

Eid celebrations?

Is it normal to celebrate Eid by drinking alcohol and partying non stop … doesn’t that just go against the whole month of Ramadan im so confused

Hi All! FTM, Entering week 40 and no signs of labor, no dilation yet. Please share tips and ways to induce natural labor. Induction is already scheduled on week 41 but don’t want to go through that process.
