I met some other parents at school pick up, and I realized I knew a couple of them. A few of the newer parents joined in our convo and wanted to hear more about my job ( it was hiring at the time and wfh ) one of the parents gives me a sob story, their rent went up, the husband was drinking all the money away, she was the only working,etc. So I go out of my way to revamp here resumes and do her assessment and typing test, use my name to get her app pulled faster. My supervisor lets me know that they’re backed up and to give him some time to get caught up.
That Monday, I go to talk to the woman about my supervisor needing time and she acts like she didn’t see me. It was crowded so I paid it no mind, but I went to pick up my older kids from the high school and ran into her again, and she ignored me again 🤔 and there was no mistaking me, she actually sent another mom my way after I helped her. I seen her everyday but I didn’t try again 🤷🏾♀️ after a week my supervisor pulls me in a meeting asking if I still had those ppl available that I wanted to recruit. I told him that the first woman was no longer interested in the job, and he was disappointed because she had the best scores ( thanks to my dumb ass) I told him she accepted another position to make sure he wouldn’t call her🫣 was I wrong for that. This lives rent free in my mind.

After a while I got a little boy friend and I hadn’t been home for a few days. Out of no where my mother decided she need to kidnap me. So now I’m racing my mother to my place hoping she doesn’t find the bag of shame
I get there a few minutes before her and start looking for this thing. It’s stuck on my microwave and I hear keys 😱 I managed to get it off and I throw thing under the sink, and my burst in gun out( I’m from Chicago) ready to shoot cause she heard me cursing up a storm. I lied and said I broke the handle the microwave and that I can fix it when I get back.
She goes there’s glue in the cabinet. And when I say I watch in slow motion as my mom goes under this damn sink and pulls out the massive toy 🥲 she turns to me straight face and says you know this is not how you keep them clean. And starts lecturing me on cleaning sex toys

Did anyone opt for the copper coil during their C-section?
When I spoke with the consultant, she put it on my consent form to have the hormone coil during my C-section. However, a lot of the things she said are making me change my mind (she said I could cross it out if I no longer want it). Just wondering if anyone got it before? Just not sure if it's for me, as I never been on birth control in my life

I’m 24 years old and I come with a 2 year old boy and a 32 year old old man 😅. I try to keep up with most things but some of favorites of mine are sports (mex soccer, football, wrestling) and reading. I also enjoy scary stuff (it’s basically Halloween already). I start a new job tomorrow where my child is at the same setting as me and I’m so nervous and heartbroken about not being with my baby 24/7
I’m beyond grateful and lucky for having a full year but I’m not ready 😭 it was agreed that we were both in 12 hours a week and without any notice they’ve changed it to 30 hours and said it’s non negotiable and finishing when my son would normally be going to bed and gonna really struggle transport wise due to the change, any advice mamas x

Contraception after birth
Hey mamas! I’m due my 6 weeks postnatal this Thursday. I was just looking to see what contraception to consider. After my first son I tried the 2 months injection and that made me put on weight so much and never had my period whilst I was on it, with the pills, they also made me gain so much weight. I want to consider the copper coil, any mamas to share their experience? Just so I can weigh my options. TIA
