Hello!
My partner is half Thai, and we're looking for Thai middle names to honour that side of his heritage. His British dad was pretty strict about keeping everything English while he was growing up so he feels like he's missing out on a connection to part of himself, and we don't want our little bub to feel like that.
We asked his mum if there are names she likes, but she came back with a list of Japanese and Korean names, which isn't quite what we were after! 🤦
We've been able to find a girl's name we like with our chosen first name, but are struggling for a boy's name.
Can anyone help suggest a Thai boys name? First name begins with A & we'd like to avoid alliteration.
Incognito because I know people irl in this group, although they can probs work out who I am from context 😂

I used to go to school with a Natapong, and he was called Nat for his nickname x

Daw - unisex name meaning bright and beautiful stars- so lovely!
Lamon - means gentle
Pravat - means historical person - could be a cool tie in with how you are honoring ancestors!
Preed - joyful individual
Kla- brave and bold man
Chalerm - means celebrated like how you are celebrating his heritage!

How about “Det” / “Dech” which means “Power” in Thai?

Do you know what province his family is from? You can have a middle name with the name of the province, such as "Phayao", "Surin", "Tak", "Sakaew", etc.
