C section at 34 weeks in the morning

No experience, however from what I see with recent deliveries ...babies are needing ALOT less interventions at this stage and doing really well. We've been through the mill recently with my health and so been thinking alot about that 'what ifs' in terms of early delivery. Stats are good , and seeing other people's experiences of similar gestation is pretty reassuring. Positive energy your way xx

You’ve got this girl! My son was born at exactly 35 weeks and he was absolutely fine with no complications! Babies past 33 weeks tend to be troopers! Sending all my love and positivity to you x

Good luck lovely please try not to worry (easier said than done I know) my little boy was born spontaneously at 34 weeks 9 years ago and other than a little jaundice he was absolutely fine, we were kept in for 5 days of monitoring but you would never know he was a premature baby. I hope all goes well ❤️

Don’t worry, you and your baby would be just fine. C-section isn’t that scary, I’ve had one before and it was very smooth. Your baby’s organs are already fully formed and working on their own so if she’s born now, she will do fine without assistance. I’m sure the doctors are just doing what’s best for both of you. 🤗🤗🤗

Hi lovely, ive had 2 episodes of threatened pre term labour and at 34 weeks their chances are just as good as that of a full term baby! The chances are a NICU stay if required will be very short. Best of luck with your section, I hope you and baby are okay! Xx

Thank you so much everyone!! She arrived safely at 12:06 and is doing well in neonatal at the moment with not much oxygen so that’s a great start 💞💞💞
