Wanted to cut some fruit veg up for my daughter so she can get used to solids and bite on something yummy since her teetg arw starting to come through. For the life of me I can only think of cucumber, can anyone think of anything else that can be cut sensibly sized for her? :)

If you want something hard she won't be able to actually bite through then raw carrot sticks, but if you want a soft cooked veg to eat, then roast courgette or sweet potato works well

I know it may be unconventional, but in my culture, they give babies cooked chewy beef or meat for them to just chew on. It sounds crazy but it actually helps 😂😂😂

She doesnt actually like carrots haha but ill be cooking some broccolli tonight and chicken :)
Thank you ladies :)

I cut up melon and keep it in the fridge and give it to my little girl cold! That’s the only food she wanted when she was teething or what I thought was teething anyway

My LG loves sweet peppers, you can pick them up from most super markets now 😊

Melon and watermelon; thin slices of apple and pear; mango (we found easiest was actually to give her the stone as she could hold it better); roasted sticks of courgette, potato/sweet potato, parsnip, carrot; strawberries (we found easiest to cut into slices with a crinkle cutter for grip); avocado (again crinkle cutter helps with grip).

Slices of Melon are a winner with my LO too or nectarine. We tried Avocado but it was a bit mushy and he just squeezed it to bits ha ha. Have also done the above mentioned veg

Melon and pineapple are good for teething, if you use the solid starts app they show you how to cut in appropriately x

My babe loves gnawing on celery when he’s teething!
