Was just about to type what danni said x
Oh wow okay! So take it’s lid is off and you have to just hold it at the top while submerging the rest in hot water?
Very interesting ladies. I didn’t know this and I poured my milk from my pump container, my little girl threw it all back up ?
@Lucy yeah, as long as the top isn't covered it won't create a vacuum and suck water in through the bottom x
Sorry can I just check please, are you meant to actually take the bits off the bottle? I’ve never done that! I just place it in a jug x
@Gaby yes you need to take all of the top bit off as it will create a vacuum and pull water up through the bottom if you don't x
@abi oh wow I feel awful, I’ve always put it in a jug ☹️
@Gaby I was doing it aswell until last week. They really should put it on the leaflet with the bottles
@abi @Danni thanks for sharing this info with us! I had no idea! Although I use a bottle warmer machine that basically steams the bottle. Do you know if I also need to take the teat and the lid off with this process? Thanks a lot in advance x
@Jen when I use a bottle warmer i take the lid and teat off aswell x
Which bottle warmer do you use for the mam bottles @Danni ? Thanks!
@Lucy I use this. Someone bought it for us and does the job x https://www.tommeetippee.com/en-gb/product/easi-warm-bottle-and-food-warmer-uk?gclid=CjwKCAiAy_CcBhBeEiwAcoMRHLcIPm7qHJ57b6IvHPzpgAMFMVmpHb32FccQJMmbvHJsXylMiPrVghoCeB8QAvD_BwE
@Danni amazing thank you!!
You can put it in a jug. I emailed mam to check. This is what they said 'to cool/heat the bottle, place it in a jug of water and make sure the lid, collar, and teat are off the bottle. If you do not do this, water will enter the bottom of the bottle due to pressure '
