They’re all lovely! I think my favourites are Vinnie and Jos, although I’d spell it Joss. Here’s some other ideas:

why do you consider the combination -ie to be feminine and -y to be masculine? Why do you think should -ie be avoided for certain babies on the basis of what genitals they have? It’s just a different way to write the same sound. Letters/spelling variations really don’t need to be gendered. I truly don’t mean to sound harsh btw, I just don’t think it’s necessary and if they like the -ie, cool! 💘

I would veto Arthur and Ray. Jos is my favorite.

these are so different, great thank you :)

I really love Jos I just wonder if people won't know how to pronounce it! Thanks so much for this I have wondered if having 2 names ending IE is too much! Really helpful thank you 💗

this is amazing, thanks so much! Not heard some of these and love them 🥰

@Kadie I don't disagree with either of you, but I have never seen Jessie spelled with a y for a boy or girl. Everyone's experience is different, for sure. Jessy (on nameberry) says variation of Jessica or spelling variation for Jesse maybe that's what you meant or you've seen it that way🤷♀️ I def see some spellings get altered to appear more "feminine" however I don't think classical male names seem feminine with an ie ending such as Vinnie, and Lennie. Obviously, to each their own, I just wanted to chime in. Many unisex names also share spellings, like mine, Dana, a male name now given to mostly females. Names are not gendered we gender them, but I understand that we identify most names as female or male more than multisex or non binary (although thar is changing). Interesting thoughts, never the less! @Jessie

My nephews are Louie & Freddie x

absolutely

I really love Freddie, sound lovely together x
