Nipple cream or Vaseline?

Hi! I’m going to try and breast feed. I’ve heard Vaseline is a good alternative to nipple cream. Has anyone tried it and can recommend? If not please can you tell me what was best for you?

The only thing that worked for me was breastmilk. It's honestly like a magic cure for everything (I swear, I'm not crunchy lol)

Breastmilk is the best 100%❤️

Vaseline is made from petrol

Coconut oil! Works like magic!

Breast milk it is then haha even better because it’s free 😂 thank you ladies. I don’t think I will have any problems producing enough milk. My udders are already leaking pools. 🐄

I used shea butter, midwife said it’s natural and safe for baby to eat

Silver cups and breastmilk

Lanolin cream brought mine back from the worst I’ve ever seen them. You don’t need to wipe of after applying either when you need to feed little one x

I got myself nipple balm from Rescue Midwife. Totally swear by it and recommend to everyone I know who are intending to BF

Breastmilk is definitely the best option and there’s also Earth’s Mama nipple butter

silverettes and your breast milk are magic! I never needed cream using those. Also the creams and balms will stain so be careful if you do use them!

Not Vaseline. Don’t want baby consuming that when they nurse

Breast milk it is! Thank you. I didn’t know Vaseline was so bad for you. Definitely will not be using that.
