Baby shower

I’m planning to have mine in April that way I’ll still have more than enough time to buy what I didn’t get at my baby shower!

Mine will be in April. My aunt's are throwing me one. I wasn't actually planning to have one...I don't do well with crowds and now I'm nervous about having one.

I'd recommend having your baby shower 6-8 weeks before your due date, just in case. I chose to do mine 8 weeks before my due date, and then found out I'll be induced 4 weeks early, leaving me with 4 weeks after the shower(if she doesn't come earlier on her own or if complications arise) to get the rest of the stuff we need, to get the rest in order in the nursery, and to just relax before my baby gets here. I've also seen so many people go into labor shortly after their baby shower, and I've seen a lot of people have their shower planned 4 weeks before and end up going into labor before the shower date.

girl my friend had her baby the DAY of her baby shower. She didnt even get a chance to even have one at all

April 22nd! Due June 25th. We live out of state so will be driving back to the state I grew up in which is 8 hours from our home state

@Kadijah it happens so often! I'm 29 weeks, my baby shower is around 32 weeks, and I'm honestly questioning if I'll make it that long. I've had a few complications, but honestly I just get the feeling she's coming before 36 weeks when they induce me. I'd say better to be safe than sorry, and it gives parents more time to plan on buying what they need before baby arrives.
