Yeast infection

I was prescribed antibiotics when I had a UTI for 7 days and my midwife told me drink raw unsweetened cranberry juice and lots of water like 90fluid ounces a day. Not quite a yeast infection but similar . Before I got pregnant I would just drink cranberry juice mixed with water and after a week I was fine. Yeast infections are common and are really common if you don’t drink enough water ,

Do you mean antifungal? Or do you have something other than a yeast infection? If it’s an antifungal for yeast infection, using the topical version is typical. Outside of pregnancy, people can easily diagnose themselves and buy the topical medication at a drugstore or grocery store without consulting anyone. The benefit of the oral version is that it’s less messy and can be done in one dose, but it requires going to a doctor for a prescription. I’ve used the topicals many times (I get a yeast infection every time I take antibiotics 🥲) and have never taken the oral. The only thing I would normally say to be aware of is that the shorter packs are less of a hassle but burn more. The 1-day especially burns like Satan himself is in your vagina 😫, but the boxes say pregnant ppl should only use the 7-day and my doctor has 3-day listed as their recommendation. Other than that, best to use it before bed so the full dose stays inside you for as long as possible, and wear a pantyliner jic!
