Is it possible to get confused between a contraction and baby moving?

I'm 38 weeks, I have been feeling baby move very clearly, he moves and his moves are powerful enough to be uncomfortable and painful at times. But then between intervals of his movement, when I don't think he's moving, I feel pressure or maybe contraction type pain down in my abdomen but I can't tell if it's his movements or a contraction. No idea how a contraction feels

Sometimes I find that the baby causes Braxton Hicks occasionally that and really mild cramps. I had a rough night last night predominal labor contractions every hour and baby was super active all night but they calmed down once I got up this morning. I'm 36+3 If it's a tightening your feeling it's likely Braxton Hicks but if it's anything stronger it's contractions only thing is it's only labor contractions if they're regular and they get stronger and more painful each time. Again though I do sometimes find baby causes tightenings sometimes.
