Cuddle curl / bed sharing advice

Hey Mamas, I have been bed sharing with my little one on and off since he was about 3 weeks old. The last week or so I’ve had to bedshare with him after nearly 6 weeks of him sleeping in his Moses basket. We have tried the next to me and he hated it since birth and still hates it now.
The question is bedsharing and the “cuddle curl” position I need to be in to no rollover it’s the most uncomfortable thing and I wake up so sore. Any bed sharing mums that have advice on how I can make the cuddle curly more comfy. My arm and shoulder is always so sore from it. Ps my LO is 16 weeks old on Sunday.

Not moving the whole night is uncomfortable as hell regardless lol but I find those positions work best for me

A pillow between your knees helps with hip pain :)

You know your baby and yourself and there’s lots of guidance but i literally take it as guidance and not hard rules. I start in this position and it hurts so halfway through the night I sleep side by side with my LG - my face at the same level as her body so if I roll my head will touch her body first - if that makes sense? But I know I don’t roll and I wake up every 3 hours to look at her anyway it’s like internal body clock alarm! 🙈

thank you for replying, honestly that’s why I do it on an off cause it’s so uncomfortable, but my son has been so hard to settle this last week so I’ve had to just have him on the bed with me. I know I deffo won’t roll as I’m a side sleep and litterally wake up in the same position I fall asleep in. Just worried that if I’m super tired I’ll switch sides and have my back too close to him as he tends to shuffle towards me. I’m ebf so wake up every 2 hours to feed, I’ll try what you are doing and hopefully I can sleep as peacefully as my son 😂🤍

Thankyou lol this takes me all the way back to being pregnant and sleeping on the left side 😂

Cosleeping is such a dirty word but 3/4 of the world’s population do it and as long as I know I’m safe I love co sleeping I feel like we have this incredible bond waking up to her giggles and smiles in the morning! Good luck with it I hope he settles better soon ❤️ I don’t know if this helps you but sometimes I sleep on two pillows so my head isn’t resting on my shoulder as much and then don’t get a dead arm 😂 sometimes I wake up to feed and my arm is dead and can’t pick my baby up 🙈

6week old pretty much slept through the night?!

6 week old baby slept through her usual night feed. Usually wakes at 3am and 6am. Plenty wet and dirty nappies. Was last weighed a few weeks ago and had gone past her birth weight. Due to be seen and weighed again in 2 days. Is more awake during the days now. Having both breastmilk and formula. Is this OK? She had ger last feed at 10pm Went to bed at 11pm and woke up on her own at 5.20am. The clocks had obviously gone forward and u almost feel refreshed after a longer sleep!!

It is 3am . Your toddler wakes in the night having wet the bed.

You can't find a waterproof sheet but you can find a normal sheet for his bed.

You are pretty sure there is a waterprpof sheet in your 11 month old's room.

But your 11 month old only just got to sleep after a half hour of being awake

Do you...

Clocks changing + late wake up

My LO woke up around 8.30am (would have been 7.30am obv) which feels illegal 😂 although there are definitely worse problems to have and wondering how to work naps now?
He normally naps twice a day and has 1.5 hours for each, although sometimes will have a longer nap in the morning and then a shorter one in the afternoon. His wake windows are around 3/3.25/3.5 so it’s going to be a late bedtime as it stands.
Thoughts? Should I cap his naps so I can put him to bed earlier and get things back on track or just let things take their course? He’s likely to eventually get back to an earlier wake up anyway.

Sleep… is this normal?

Is it normal for my 7 week old baby to wake low this during the night…

8pm bedtime - milk and story
8:30/9pm - sleep
12:00am - milk
3am - milk

He goes four hours between feeds for his first milk and then three hours between feeds for his second milk. Why are his sleep stretches different throughout the night? Is this normal?

Fussy baby

My 12 day old has been fussing since 3am (4 hours). She had a 50 minute feed at that time and has been on and off the breast since but falls asleep very quickly when on, I have burped her, given a formula top up, walked around tried to soothe but nothing is working. Anyone else had this, is it just normal newborn behaviour or any other ideas of things to try?

Clock changes

How is everyone going about the clock changes? I didn’t realise the clocks changed this weekend so haven’t done anything gradually, I’m thinking just go with it and things will sort themselves out?! I have the napper app but it’s just doing its normal thing with nap times etc, doesn’t seem to be adjusted… FTM so never done this😅
