Has anyone given birth here recently? They don’t do tours so I’m having a hard time finding out what supplies they provide when I’m there in order to pack my hospital bag. Any advice or feedback would be great!

I just gave birth there 2 weeks ago, I wasnt in labor and delivery long before giving birth do im not sure what they provide other then water , when you move units over from labor and delivery to mother and baby they provide everything for baby, diapers, wipes, pacifiers, and formula. Im not quit sure what else they provide if you breastfeed. And then for mom they have the mesh underwear, pads, a perri bottle, tucks and even dermoplast spray. they also provide you with 3 meals a day if you need to stay and if you have someone staying with you they offer guess meals as well for them. I would definitely pack snacks and drinks if you would life so you dont need to go to the vending machine.

Were you allowed to have 3 people with you? That’s what my OB said but she wasn’t positive. Then I think it went down to 2 visitors at mother baby

So in labor and delivery you can have your support person and 2 other people while your in labor. But once the other 2 people come in those are the only 2 that are allowed you cant switch people. Now on mother and baby after when you and baby are recovering your only allowed 2 and thats including your support person

Hospital bag checklist ✨

I feel like a lot of us have been discussing this for a while so I’ve pieced together what we’ve all said (water birth, c section mamas might need more). Other 2 x screenshots in the comments. If anyone spots anything missing feel free to add below ⬇️

C-section information

How long were you in hospital for after your first C-section? I am having my first C-section next week and would be grateful of any advice or information. Thanks

Hormone drip

I’m being induced on Wednesday, with my first baby I was induced but I can’t remember if I had the hormone drip as I was so out of it from gas and air and pethidine.

Can I refuse it this time? As I’ve heard it makes contractions more painful, or can I say if I do need the hormone drip, I will need an epidural can the 2 coincide?

Did any mamas get nails done before c section?

Reading mixed things online saying that we can’t get them done bc the pulse reader? Just wanting to see if they actually really care x

christening/naming ceremony

did anyone have a christening or naming ceremony for their little one? what would you recommend? my boy is 2 months old so i’m not thinking right this second but i want to do something for him. i was baptised as a baby although i don’t follow a religion as of current. it will be my family and friends attending as the father isn’t involved, but that still adds up to a pretty decent turn out. what was everyone’s experiences? tell me everything!

Growth charts

Has anyone else not get access to the baby’s growth charts. I’m not sure if I made it up that I should have access or not.

If you do was it through an app or website.

Sorry 39 weeks and brain fog is crazy 😂
