Courtney black workout app

Hello,
I’m a regular gym goer but I’ve just been put off going atm. I used to use Courtney blacks app so I’ve gone back to that. But I’ve never used it for pregnancy workouts and I’m abit lost!

Any advice on where to look for good pregnancy friendly workouts would be great :)

I used YouTube for alot of my workouts once i hit the 30 weeks mark and stopped going gym classes. Pre and post partrum TV have loads of good workouts

I'm a Courtney black user too! I've been trying Rachel's work outs. If you love Courtney it is definitely a change of pace but it's really good to see the variations of what to do (or not to do) during the trimesters X

do I just use any of her ones? I’ve had a little scroll through them but not sure where to start haha

I believe she does variations on most of them. When you go on the live workouts you can filter for pre & post natal though. Any of those are okay.

I pretty much carried on as normal whilst pregnant, I was in the gym until 40 weeks, as long as you don’t strain your stomach you’re ok especially if it was your lifestyle before pregnancy x

I used fit on, it's free unless you wanna pay for the extras but I've never needed them xx

I was like this for a while too just kept reminding myself how good I actually feel after I had done workouts etc half the time I just made workouts up as I went along x

I used joe wicks wife Rosie’s workouts on youtube also there is a sweat app with Kayla itsines I use also 🙂

I've been using the 'Beyond' app for a while and I love it - it's very similar to CB app though.

What I much prefer about Beyond is the ownerr is also pregnant, has been doing her pregnancy workout course thingy and has created a pregnancy specific workout plan on the app which includes a pelvic floor routine and trimester specific stretching routine to follow 😊 x

I used Rachel’s workouts.. you can use any of them so I just followed my normal splits.. upper body, legs etc but just listened to my body too. I’m 13 months PP and pretty much back onto Courtney’s brutal ones 😂

For those that are paying attention to what’s going on in the US and the state of the WORLD…(Not enough people are)—How are you all coping?

How are you managing a full time job that is funding genocides—-Seeing our rights being slowly taken away. They already came for our reproductive rights. They’re trying to disenfranchise millions of female voters by passing the Save Act. Mainstream media and social media censoring. Mass civilian surveillance. Poisoned water, food. A health care system that puts a band aid on illness to keep the business going—and coming back home to your kids and pretending like anything about this shit is normal. Oh and our world leaders run the largest human trafficking ring. AND the US is trying to cover it up and refuses to hold anyone accountable. And these are the people in charge. Such commendable beings. I’m pretty anxious. So besides self care. How are you coping? Maybe you can comment on what you do for self care.

Contraceptive

Hi looking for advice on what people think is the best form of contraception

I had the pill which I fell pregnant on, the injection which I bled non stop on, the coil which I thought was good until it came out on its own.

I know I don’t want anymore children my little boy is definitely enough.

Also has anyone’s partner had the snip seeking advice on this too as I’ve asked my partner to do it, he didn’t seem very keen😂

Coping with sleep deprivation

How is everyone coping with lack of sleep? I feel like such a hermit but the lack of sleep is really getting to me. I go out for a long walk everyday with my daughter, but I can’t muster anything else. The lack of socialising is starting to get to me but my social battery is so low that the thought of going out and chatting with others just feels too much. Anyone else feel this way?! X

I am totally sympathetic to mom isolation and having no friends but do you ever get overloaded when a mom you just met trauma dumps on you and is all doom and gloom?

I met a mom and had known her for 20 minutes and I knew her entire life and story history and all her trauma and everything that’s making her upset in life. I was just like 🫠👀
