1 month old sleeping through the night already

Hi all. I have a 1 month old and she just slept for 9.5 hours last night and has slept 7-8 hours in the past on the odd night. I don’t usually set an alarm as she tends to wake within 6 hours at night. But my question is, is the longer periods safe? Will it do her any harm?

At the end of the day I would hate to disturb her sleep if her body needs it

On top of this. I expected her to devour her bottle but she just had half of it and then fell back to sleep. She seems well in herself and she’s gaining weight and sticking to the 50th centile currently 🤷🏼‍♀️

My little girl has slept through (8-10hr stretches) since 4 weeks and I’ve never woke her for a feed. She’s 12 weeks today, gaining weight and thriving x

My little girl is a month old today and has slept through (at least 6 hours) since 3 days old. Gaining weight and thriving. She tells me when she's hungry

thank you both! That makes me feel more at ease! The midwives and health visitors always say never to go over 5 hours which is what sparked my concern 🤦🏼‍♀️

My little girl does the same goes down around 9.30 and doesn’t wake until 5.30/6am she eats lots during the day as long as she is gaining weight and is well I wouldn’t worry. Growth spurt will come and knock that routine back out no doubt well that’s what I’m expecting she’s been doing this for weeks and is only going to be 6 weeks old tomorrow 😂 seems the we lasses like their sleep 💓

My 4 week old sleeps 6/7ish hours at night (currently 🤞🏻) and midwife confirmed it’s fine not to wake her for a feed anymore - She’s gaining weight and doing well so just enjoy the sleep!

My 4 month old wakes twice through the night.. but she's breastfeed. Are your formula feeding or breastfeeding? I think if formula feed they feed longer. Also if her weight is good then they say let them sleep x

My LO sleeps 5-8hrs a night pretty much since birth (3w today). She makes up for the feeds during the day, is happy, content, plenty of nappies, I wouldn't wake baby up if everything else is fine

she’s formula fed :)

Very normal then..my son was formula fed and he slept soo well. My daughter is a monkey lol and up every 3 hours for milk . I'm guessing this is due to breastfeeding x

Sleep!

Can anyone actually recommend any products to help a 6 month old sleep better at night? The most she’s ever slept is 4 hours and that was only once, generally she wakes up around every 90mins - 2hrs. Any tips welcome!

Panicked breastfeeding

Hi all, my little girl is 3 weeks old and exclusively breastfeeding (I'm also pumping so my husband can help me get naps in when baby is fussing). Problem is we seem to have the hungriest baby ever even outside of cluster feeds, but most importantly she goes through these panic moments where she just... freaks out on boob? Feels liks she's screaming for it but it's literally in her mouth. She's definetely drinking enough as she pulls off boob and milk sprays everywhere, and she's shot past her birth weight, our midwife even mentioned she's one of the fastest growing babies she's seen. So what's with the freakouts?? I end up crying in the dead of night every night atm 😅 I've tried making sure she's warm, burping her more, calming her but she still has those episodes. Overtiredness maybe?

Tonies

Thinking of buying a Tonies box for my toddler’s birthday, but according to some reviews I’ve read on Amazon they don’t last very long and are prone to technical issues, etc.
Those of you who own one, what do you think? Are they worth the money?

Self settling

Does anyone’s baby self settle to sleep (when they first go to sleep) without a dummy?

I’m just wondering and getting paranoid what my baby should be settling themselves to sleep

Epidural

Do you recommend an epidural?

I didn’t have one with my first and I’m unsure for this time around.
