Body after having a baby

I’m so depressed by how I look now I used to be a size 10 in jeans and now I am a size 14 and it is so frustrating and no matter how hard I try I can’t lose the weight and I’ve never felt so insecure in my life before. And my hanging belly is absolutely horrible looking I weighed 160 pounds and now I am at 234 pounds and I’m so insecure.

Girl same ! 😭 why js it so hard to loose weight after a babh . I feel like for other women they dont even have to try and its gone like nothing ! I had just gotten to a good weoght to where i felt so good about myslef and then BAM i got pregnant. Ive NEVER been in the 200’s and its so depressing tk see that scale get to that point

I had my first baby when I was 20 I had my second when I was 28 and my first I was back in size 8 in a matter of days, now Jesus I can’t shift the weight like nothing is working god knows why 😨😨😨

Sammmeeee I’m waiting to finish paying off my hospital bill deductible so I can start paying for Semiglutide injections. A local clinic has them for $220 a month . That stuff works!!! Andddd I’m getting on Phentermine temporarily because I just can’t . I’m 60lbs overweight. With exercise and a low calorie high protein diet it should help alot. I’ve lost 55 lbs in the past doing all the things I listed I was just waiting also for my vag (3m PP) to stop hurting so I can get my ass out there to walk /run)

Same here! Literally got to a weight I was happy with then 2weeks later I found out I was pregnant currently 181 pounds was 140 before pregnancy and I just can’t seem to lose it 🥲

Also I know the belly hanging sucks and it seems like it will never go away but with strength training that helps ALOT lose pouch won’t go away completely but it can be reduced with the correct workouts and nutrition.

Fr before I was pregnant I was very skinny girl I used to weigh around 125-130 but at the end of my pregnancy I was 204 I love the extra weight besides the one on my stomach, like ew why do I have a belly now anyways Im trying to give myself grace but I can’t lie I be jealous of those girls who went back to normal

I got up to 256 lbs I'm down to 220 and fluctuate 20 pounds. I at one point got down to a size 10 from 18 but I starved and ran, swam, and biked and because my kids were little I was missing out on time with them trying to shed off weight. The longer you are a mom as I'm finding and with age the less you give a flying squirrel over silly things. What's important is that you put in quality ingredients into your body. Focus on loving yourself from the inside out. You created life! Your body is amazing and perfect. It gave you life, love, and adventure in the form of your little one. Your body is a temple, a lived in home, and it tells a story that you survived the greatest scariest most exhilarating thing ever to give birth. Your body has changed and will never be the same and that's great. You transitioned into motherhood (every birth is a new transition) so you rock and should treat yourself to plenty of water, love, and forgiveness for needing food/sleep/extra bathroom time.

I went from 130 pounds to 215 and only lost 6 pounds after giving birth to a 6 pound baby….

No bleeding after c section

9 days post op and I’ve not been bleeding at all.. I only bled some clots for the first 24-48 hours but nothing after that. Midwives are advising this is normal, has anyone else experienced no bleeding after c section?

Visitors after C-Section

I’ve firmly expressed I don’t want visitors when we’re in the hospital and likely not for a while when home. I want us to be able to adjust but also for me to start to recover, I’ve got a condition that causes seizures and poor wound healing so anticipating it could potentially be difficult at first.

I don’t want to be unfair to people, but I know it’s going to be detrimental mentally for me to have people. I’ve been pushed on specifics on how long and said “we’ll say 2 weeks for now including the hospital and then let people know.” I can tell that my mom is not happy in the slightest and there’s been a few comments.

What do others recommend? Is it better to just grit your teeth and get people over to keep the peace? Is it wrong to want the space?

Soft spot concern

I took my little boy into the doctors for a chest infection earlier and they said she concerned over his soft spot hasn't closed yet and is quite sunken.. but he's not dehydrated and putting on weight well, so have done some type of advice and guidance to paeds and said they may want to look at his brain/head or may be nothing, called a doctor in and he said he'd never seen anything like it even working in paeds, which has now made me worry. Anyone else had the same or similar?🥺😭

How many people can stay in hospital

Hi all, do you know how many people can stay with you in the hospital after your delivery in the recovery room? Mine is a planned C-section at Homerton. Do they allow more than 1?

31 weeks movement

My baby moves all the time but is anyone else finding that the movement are more rolls and pushes than actual jabs! I only get jabs and kicks now if I am laying down but during the day I mainly get rolls and pushing. I haven’t been worried that his movements have reduced just different kinds of moving.

Period like pains

I’m 35 weeks tomorrow and having dull period like cramps in my lower belly and slightly in my lower back. Has anyone else had this? I’m wondering if it’s just general pregnancy stretching muscles etc or the start of something.. 😬
