39 weeks with no signs of labor

I am 39 weeks. My baby is still up high. I've had no Braxton hicks contractions, my water has not broke, I haven't lost the mucus plug, and no bloody show. I'm uncomfortable but still able to do things. I've had a very healthy pregnancy with no complications. I'm just ready for him to come out lol. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Same! Except I’m 38 weeks and 4 days. My whole pregnancy has been normal and I’m still able to move but so over being pregnant. I just wanna see this chubby face and lay on my stomach again 😫

Baby will come when she ready fr. I was 40 weeks 5 days when I had my first daughter and 40 weeks 3 days with my second daughter. But don’t lose hope.

babies can stay in there comfortably (for them) til 42 w - but there’s nothing wrong with getting some help adjusting his position & inducing at this point. were you planning a specific birth location (home, hospital?)

Girl I’m going through the same thing! I’m 39 weeks tomorrow and my baby keeps getting bigger and bigger. I just had another cervix exam and my OB says I’m completely closed all the way up. No signs of labor. I’m getting Braxton hicks but no actual contractions. I’ve been taking castor oil the last 2-3 days and nothing. Gone for walks, danced for fun lol and even been bouncing on my exercise ball. Still nothing. Honestly this is so frustrating 🙄😭.

That's how I was with my first. Now I'm 38 weeks with my second and have had signs since 36 weeks and that has been equally frustrating

I was this way with my first two, but my son was extra stubborn and waited until 40+5 to start the party, literally a day before they were going to induce me. He took so long to come too. My daughter was induced the day before her due date and born on her due date. I had zero signs of labor with her, so who knows how long she would have stayed in there. Just hang tight, I know it's rough, but they have their own little schedule and there's not much we can do to change it.

Try using a birth ball, curb walking/walking, sex + ejaculation!

Baby will come when ready!

I’m not ready to not be pregnant. I love every minute of the feeling of motherhood and baby moving and all that. The pain is worth it to me. But I am ready to meet him. I’m 38 weeks 3 days and no sign he is ready at all. He’s also still a little high. Head down but you can feel his head which means he hasn’t dropped. I know he’s squished in there and have no room, so I want him to come, but I’ll miss being pregnant, the time came and went

Update: I'm getting induced on the 29th! I'm so ready to meet this little man!

Bleeding while you pregnant…

I'm six weeks pregnant with my second child. At the beginning of the pregnancy, I had some light spotting. At five weeks, I had an ultrasound and a blood test for hCG levels. The ultrasound showed a bleeding wound, but it doesn't affect pregnancy. My hCG increased by 169% in two days. After all these tests, I no longer saw blood on the toilet paper after going to the bathroom. Then yesterday, I had a little difficulty going to the bathroom, and after that, I saw a small amount of blood on the toilet paper again. Nothing today. I'm going for an ultrasound on Friday, but I'm still uneasy. Has anyone else had this?

Growth scan at 34 weeks

Hi, I went to the midwife yesterday and have been referred for an urgent growth scan as baby has dropped from the 90th to 40th percentile over the last three measurements. Has anyone experienced this? So stressful 😔

Julia Donaldson Party

Hi all, I’m throwing a Julia Donaldson party for my soon to be one year old but finding it hard to find decorations etc!

I have a sign, banner, zog and Gruffalo cupcakes and of course a cake! Also going to bring some books and toys to display.

Just wondered if anyone has done anything similar and could share any ideas?

I know he won’t remember but I want to make it amazing. We aren’t renting a soft play we’re just buying a slide set and a ball pit etc so my son can use them at home! So I just to make sure the theme pops so I can take lots of pictures and show him when he’s older!

Is It Just Me?

Is it just me, or are babies these days developing in their own completely unique way and fast!!

My little one is 6 months now, and honestly it feels like every week brings something new.

Sitting up started around 4–5 months, even though tummy time has never been the favourite activity. Rolling is no problem, but the real interest now is in attempting to shuffle around and explore
Standing with support has become a whole new hobby — anything sturdy enough becomes a piece of “furniture gym equipment.”
Weaning began at 4 months, and by 5 months there was already interest in snacks labelled for 7 months and up. And despite all the movement and curiosity, sleeping in their own crib has been completely fine too.

It’s fascinating watching how different babies grow at their own pace — some rush ahead in certain areas, some take their time, and all of it is perfectly normal. They really do come with their own little blueprint.

My LO definitely needs to slow down 🤣😅
