Floor bed

Has anyone tried a floor bed for their LO? Trying to transition from co-sleeping as our LG likes to have a cuddle to go to sleep. Thank you xx

thanks lovely, how have you been finding it? Do you just lie down next to little one til they’re asleep?
(Your LB is absolutely gorgeous btw)

Ooooh that looks great! I've been thinking about doing that, just don't know how successful it's gonna be with twins 😅

I took the side of the cot to start with but she just kept rolling out 😂
We now have a single bed mattress on the floor. We’ve bought a frame that should be arriving tomorrow.
I’ve used my pregnancy pillow to stop her hitting her head.
It’s so useful! My LG likes to be feed back to sleep so it makes it easier as I just climb into bed with her x

that is sooo cute!

we went for a standard single, 190 x 90. It will last her a long time then as the frames are not cheap! 🙈
We got a foam type mattress from ikea as it’s still quite firm and is only 12mm thick. So it’s fine for her to sleep on her front still x

We got this one, she’s been sleeping on it for almost 3 months now and we’ve not had a single problem x

Baby rice

Hiya ladies
My little boy Benjamin is 9weeks old and already in 3-6 months clothes, he’s having 7oz of hungry baby milk every two hours however he does sleep 9pm to 6-6.30am (9 hours) every night
How early did you start giving your baby rice in the morning, I feel Benjamin needs just needs that little extra

Morning wake up time

My 10 month old used to wake up at 6:30am or 10 minutes before but last couple weeks it’s been 6am. His bedtime is 7pm now used to be 6:30pm. Is anyone else in the same boat? And when will he start sleeping past 6am? He has 2 naps 1 hour each, sometimes less.
Total sleep is 10-11 hours in 24 hours?

I’m really struggling in the mornings. Is anyone else in the same boat as us? Is this normal? What do I need to tweak to get him to sleep past 6am? 🥲😭

Is it bad???

That I’m one and done? I feel so guilty to not give my daughter another sibling but she is a hard baby and newborn stage was so awful for me and struggled really bad with PPD.

Also not support from family members either so it just me and husband

Thoughts?

Pumping

Hi! If I’m pumping in place of feeding will my supply go down, so at night my one month old settles so much better having a bottle then going back to sleep rather than breast feeding for a hour plus and crying on the boob etc
So last night I pumped for 20 mins instead of breast feeding and gave her a bottle and it was better and a more settled night but I still feel like I want to breast feed even if it means tiredness and tears, then the second feed my hubby can give a bottle then I’ll pump

What do you guys think? She’s coming up 5 weeks and past few weeks have been stressful with latching as fussiness and I’ve cried a lot but I still want to breast feed Which I will do In the day but at night Is it ok for me to miss one and pump instead ?

Struggling with mom guilt

Sorry for the long paragraph.. My 7 month baby is not sitting unaided or has any interest in rolling. Totally hates tummy time. She is delayed in these motor milestones and I don’t know if its because I have done something wrong. She is exclusively breastfed, and hardly showing any interest in solids. I feel like a terrible mom when I see other babies doing a lot more than mine, I know I should not be comparing but its just giving me mom guilt and a feeling that I may have done something wrong. Don’t know what to do.
