Had anybody flown with a stroller and put it in the overhead on air Canada?I'm looking at the Joolz Aer or the babyzen yoyo2 which are both supposed to fit in overhead, but according to the AC website they're just a touch too long... Looking to see what people's actual experience has been? Thanks in advance!!

We have flown a few times but I've always checked my stroller at the gate.

how did that go? Any problems with damage or not getting it back upon arrival?

we've done 3 trips and haven't had any issues! I did get a stroller bag for each trip because the bags get beat up but the stroller has always been fine!

good to know, thanks for sharing!

I flew from Toronto to Portugal bringing my Yoyo as an overhead carry-on and it was fine (flew recently/still in Europe)! The flight attendants were even familiar with the stroller and had no problem with it.
I flew with Tap Portugal

I have flew many times. I have the Yoyo one. Strollers take time to be release, if you have connections is better to put it in the overhead.

You should be fine with any of those 2, have the specs on hand before you check your bags or when you are about to board the plane just in case you need them.
We took our silver cross Jet (it folds like a carry on) and had no problem. I had to show a picture of how it folds because they were not familiar with this model. We had one carry on, 2 backpacks, and 1 stroller for 2 adults and a one year old.
If the flight is fully booked they may ask you to leave the stroller at the gate. Check on your destination country beforehand if they bring the strollers to the plane/gate or where do you have to pick it up.

My friend flew international 10+ times with YoYo as carry-on, no issues whatsoever. I was also told Ergobaby Metro is fine too.

I took my City Tour 2 as a carry on, but that was Air Transat from Mexico. I am flying to Italy at the end of the month on Air Canada and we've decided to gate check our stroller this time because we want more carry ons! Haha

If its slightly bigger than carry on allowance they may ask you to gate check, more if the flight is full.
Ive found that lately they have been way more strict with carry on dimensions.
Im currently abroad and have flown multiple times AC and WestJet with my LO and i always gate check mine with no issues or damages.
Even this time that i lost the protection bag when going through security. I was worried but my stroller was perfectly fine.
Every time i get off my stroller is already there.
