Happy Friday! I’m looking for some advice or similar experiences.
My baby is almost 5 months and we have recently moved from 5 naps to 4. His wake up time is 7 am, give or take but bed time keeps changing due to his naps.
For context, I am using huckleberry and although we are nailing the sweet spot for optimal tiredness, my LO struggles to sleep for longer than 45 mins at the moment, hence why we are ending up with a bizarre bed time (either after 3 hour wake window or having to add an extra cat nap).
I am looking for ways to keep doing only 4 naps a day but we don’t seem to be able to get enough sleep in a day if he only keeps sleeping 30 mins at the time.
What would you do?

I'm absolutely no expert but am also following wake windows/sweet spots with pretty good success which are 1.5/1.45/1.45/2/2-2.5. Naps seem to be getting longer over the past couple of days (she's 20 weeks today) but I darent speak too soon! We are just gonna stick to wake windows even though that means a slightly different bed time and wake time each day. Hopefully she'll become more consistent over time. We've been on 4 naps for ages. Wake up 6-7 and usually in bed by 6-7

I feel like this about the huckleberry suggested nap times, the sweet spot seems to work a treat as my little one does go down relatively easily for a nap if I follow the suggested wake windows. Like you we don’t end up with a very long nap (unless it is a contact nap)
Sometimes when I think she could definitely do with a longer nap I try to be close enough to her when she starts to wake up from her independent sleep to quickly scoop her up and have a contact nap afterwards. This does seem to put us on a better schedule heading towards bedtime. Also a win win, some time to get things done and some cuddles!
I would also say that a lot of days I try not to be tooo strict about it, if I did I would never leave the house and in those situations I try to follow her cues where possible.

I do this for a longer nap. Pick him up and second half of nap he does on me and he’ll then nap 1.5-2 hours

my baby only contact naps and still is waking up after 35 mins these days. Longer naps are usually in the pram when we are out.
I will cross check my sweet spots against yours because recently I have been following my baby cues and put him to sleep earlier than sweet spot advice x

As soon as it hits 30 mins I stand by his cot gently rocking it as he will startle and wake himself up and usually he will go straight back to sleep and I can get another half hour or hour!
