Baby carrier for holiday

I'm going to south Wales with my boyfriend and his family at the end of September and I know we will be going to the beach so a pram isn't really suitable for the sand. I was wondering which baby carriers people have as I've been looking on amazon but I have no idea what type to get. My baby will be 4 months when we go so I need one suitable for my tiny lady šŸ¤

I’ve been researching baby carriers for our holiday and the babybjorn ones look amazing but expensive so I bought one from Vinted for 1/3 of the price! Xx

We went for the mesh move because of the back support xx

Check out your local sling library ā¤ļøYou could always just borrow one for the trip - then if you love it, buy one. We’re hooked on babywearing now, and have only used our pram three times 😳 We love our Artipoppe, but everyone has different preferences, so it’s good to try out a few x

I didn't even know that was a thing. I've never heard of them

Yeah! It’s great, isn’t it. Just Google it, but looks like this one might be local-ish to you… Some will do a postal service too, I believe x https://instagram.com/wyslinglibrary?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==

Baby bjorn baby carrier move. We've used this since Alice's birth and it's amazing. We have an airy mesh one, but there are warmer fabric ones too x

We have the ergobaby breeze which is great. I've also used the baby bjorn mesh loads and I love that one as well. Like they're both expensive but you'll be saving your back and your baby's alignment with a good one x

We just got a baby Tula explore. They’re expensive but lots of options and you can find them cheap second hand. Baby can face out from a young age, my little one loves it, and has hated all others xx

Just incase you would prefer pram*

Our pram has bigger wheels at the back than the front which I think is pretty standard. Took it to the beach pulled it backwards across the soft sand then it was fine on the harder sand, walked miles up and down the beach with it. Just make sure you hose it down to get the salt off after

8 week immunisations

My 8 week old has his first set of injections tomorrow and I’m abit nervous. Does anyone have any advice for after the jabs? I know they get a temp after so have got some calpol to give just before hand. Should I put him to bed in less clothing to make sure he doesn’t get too hot? Any tips from your experience with first set of immunisations? Am I worrying more than I need to? šŸ˜…

11 month old constantly standing in cot

Please tell me someone has some advice for this cause wow it’s trying. My almost 11 month old is fully on the move now and his new favourite thing is repeatedly pulling to stand in his cot. The problem is that he wears a sleep sack (mainly so his legs don’t get stuck between the bars tbh lol) so he’s not stable enough to lower himself down. So earlier he fell backwards and hit is head and now we feel like we can’t just leave him to it. Typically it’s his first full day at nursery tomorrow and my first day back at work IT’S LIKE HE KNOWS!!
Please tell me someone has some tips. Currently we are quietly placing him back on his back every time but he just keeps doing it! 🤣🤔

Took 9 week old to a family party where there was loud music and she was next to the speaker for most of the time (about 3 hours). She slept through most of it. Do you think she has hearing loss from this?

Freaking out right now :(

Struggling in the 4 month regression

How are people getting out of the 4 month regression? I’ve been looking it up and it says I need to be trying to put him down drowsy but awake but this does not work for my LO. Every time we do this he ends up being wide awake and after almost an hour of trying we have to contact nap/rock to sleep. I want to avoid rocking to sleep because now when he wakes up in the night he needs to be rocked back to sleep which he never used to need.

Nights are constantly broken because we are up 2-3 times to rock him back to sleep. Please give me your tips on how to survive this and how to get out of this!! Constantly feel like I’m failing and doing something wrong
