I have a wedding coming up next weekend. My family is different from me. I have a western style to me so I would like to wear my white cowboy boots at the wedding with a cute black dress while all the other girls wear sundresses and sandals. Do you think it’s acceptable to wear the cowboy boots because it’s going to be in a barn. My family is very judgmental. My husband wants to wear his cowboy boots as well with his cowboy hat. My mother is a narcissist and tries to tell me what to do with my life so I know that she will have the biggest fit if I tell her ahead of time that I am going to wear this outfit because it’s different from my sisters and cousins.

I think that’s totally acceptable I’ve been to weddings in July where people wore cowboy boots even though we were at a desert and it was 100 degrees. But it was still cute lol. Ignore your mom as much as you can because you know you look cute and they can fuck off.

It depends, are you saying that you are one of the bridesmaids and you are also supposed to wear the dress and sandals? Or are you a guest?
