Had a private scan yesterday and baby wasn’t in the best position. Anyways I have 2 big bruises now due to the pressure used. I don’t normally bruise easy but is this normal?

I had a bruise from my NHS 12/13 week scan, was really painful she used soo much pressure

I haven’t had any bruises come but it feels like I do when I touch my bump! I found it very painful! It’s due to the pressure and your body works differently while pregnant!x

My partner was in absolute shocked with how hard they pressed! He said that he is always worried and basically thinks ill break if he isn't gentle 😅 untill he saw the amount of pressure they used on the scan, it was really uncomfortable

I didn’t get bruises from my scan at 13wks but the pressure did make me feel sick and I was vomiting in the car on the way home. :(

My 12 week NHS scan was sooooo painful I was wincing the whole time from pressure and surprised I didn't bruise. They didn't even acknowledge that I was clearly in pain from it either.
But luckily I've found the private scans (at 8 weeks and 16 weeks) much more pleasant. And I have an anterior placenta and they were still able to see what they needed without hurting me. X
