Has anyone else experienced something similar?

My little girl is 13 weeks old we’ve been to the doctors twice as she’s throwing up straight after every bottle and throughout the day. She suffered with reflux and colic and on aptimil comfort milk still! Doctors don’t seem worried but surly it’s not normal for her to be being sick this much her poo is also green and has been for 5 weeks just don’t know if the doctors are trying to fob us off as first time parents anyone else had the same issue??

Hey, I know the green poo is a normal side effect of being on the comfort milk, my babies is the same and also asked my HV about it.
Is your baby gaining weight? My baby was sick quite a lot and they wasn’t concerned as she was still putting on weight, it did get better over time - she’s 16 weeks now and hardly ever sick but was the same as yours at one point and I was losing my mind.
I’d keep on at the doctors if there’s no improvement :( hope things get better xx

Oh really that makes sense I said about the green poo and she just aswell of ignored me!🤣 she’s gaining weight but I feel like it’s not as much as she has been! She had her last bottle at 6 and she’s gone through 3 muslins since from being sick just don’t want her to feel rubbish😫 I think we’ll give her a few more days if no improvement then looks like another trip to the doctors! Fingers crossed she progresses like your little one! Xx

How long has she been on the comfort milk for? I moved onto the comfort milk and it took a couple of weeks for things to change.
The green poo is defo something else to get used to 😂🤮
Ah bless her, I have my fingers crossed for you too xx

You could ask for a milk thickener? To keep it down? X

for 5 weeks now! We’ve definitely noticed a difference in her colic symptoms but she just can’t stop being sick still straight after bottles a lot comes back up. No one warns you about the green poo we had a shock!!🤣 xx

will definitely ask about this!! X

I think you can actually buy them yourself too. There’s one a lot of people on the allergy group use called magic mix - I think it’s expensive though not sure x

Will have a look into it! It’s been going on for so long now willing to try anything just going back and forth with the doctors and no help😫 x

My girl has Ben prescribed gaviscon and Omeprazole for severe reflux. The gaviscon constipated her terribly (though I know it works wonders for others) and the omeprazole doesn’t seem to be making the slightest difference. The paediatrician said there is very little more they can do and I should just hope she grows out of it sooner rather than later 😕

oh bless her it’s horrible seeing them like it😔 when she had reflux from early on she was very constipated so really trying to avoid the gaviscon it caused her a lot of trouble 😫 fingers crossed in time things will get better!

My little one was throwing up his bottle everytime, it wasn’t a little bit it was projectile aswell, we went to the doctors and asked for cows milk protein allergy formula as our health visitor said she suspected an allergy my doctor didnt want to give it to me but I kept asking and they finally give me it and my little one is hardly sick now maybe the 1 times every so often xx

My baby had these symptoms really bad and never had a solid pop and it turns out she’s lactose intolerant. I had to get quite stern with the doctors as they kept fobbing me off

8 week immunisations

My 8 week old has his first set of injections tomorrow and I’m abit nervous. Does anyone have any advice for after the jabs? I know they get a temp after so have got some calpol to give just before hand. Should I put him to bed in less clothing to make sure he doesn’t get too hot? Any tips from your experience with first set of immunisations? Am I worrying more than I need to? 😅

11 month old constantly standing in cot

Please tell me someone has some advice for this cause wow it’s trying. My almost 11 month old is fully on the move now and his new favourite thing is repeatedly pulling to stand in his cot. The problem is that he wears a sleep sack (mainly so his legs don’t get stuck between the bars tbh lol) so he’s not stable enough to lower himself down. So earlier he fell backwards and hit is head and now we feel like we can’t just leave him to it. Typically it’s his first full day at nursery tomorrow and my first day back at work IT’S LIKE HE KNOWS!!
Please tell me someone has some tips. Currently we are quietly placing him back on his back every time but he just keeps doing it! 🤣🤡

Took 9 week old to a family party where there was loud music and she was next to the speaker for most of the time (about 3 hours). She slept through most of it. Do you think she has hearing loss from this?

Freaking out right now :(

Struggling in the 4 month regression

How are people getting out of the 4 month regression? I’ve been looking it up and it says I need to be trying to put him down drowsy but awake but this does not work for my LO. Every time we do this he ends up being wide awake and after almost an hour of trying we have to contact nap/rock to sleep. I want to avoid rocking to sleep because now when he wakes up in the night he needs to be rocked back to sleep which he never used to need.

Nights are constantly broken because we are up 2-3 times to rock him back to sleep. Please give me your tips on how to survive this and how to get out of this!! Constantly feel like I’m failing and doing something wrong
