Lip tie?

Is this a list tie? My baby has always had a difficult time breastfeeding so I’m exclusively pumping and bottle feeding. I’ve seen a lactation consultant multiple times with no success. What do you guys think? Should I book and appointment with my doctor or wait until my appointment at the end of September.

Baby is 14 weeks old!

looks like a lip tie to me my son had a severe lip and tongue tie

I agree with Alexandra it looks like a lip tie to me as well. My daughter had lip & tongue tie we had released and she’s done much better breastfeeding. We were told it’s better to have the procedure done sooner than later if that’s something you’re considering

I’m just surprised my lactation consultant didn’t notice it? I mean I may be wrong but I was and still am having issues.

where did you have it released?

My LC wasn’t the one to point it out to us! It was the hospital before we were discharged, we were having issues BFing and when she wasn’t opening her mouth as babies should when latched or able to stick out or move her tongue much the nurses recommended looking into it. We booked ours through the dentist, not all offer tongue and lip tie release though. You could ask your LC if they know of where to get this done or you could try calling the maternity ward and see if they can provide a list of places in your area? We were sent home with a list of places and we called around until we got a booking. They will give baby a little examination before doing the procedure at the dental office to see if it is actually necessary.

Definitely looks like a lip tie. My baby girl had one as well. We went to a dentist and they use a lazer to cut it. If there are any dentists in your area that offer that service I would book a consultation! It really helped me with breastfeeding once the tie was cut. Good luck 💕

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

Am I wrong?

I’ve been wanting to add more garden beds to my garden. Husband says “hey do you want to go to Home Depot to get that wood for the garden beds.” Cool I’m excited I’ve been wanting to get this done for awhile.

We get there and we’re picking out wood and I make 2 comments about how I don’t like how 2 pieces of wood look that he picked out. And he says if you’re going to be this picky then u can do this yourself.

I literally made 2 comments and mind you I’m the one paying for the wood.

I felt dismissed and like my opinion didn’t matter and if I wanted to have an opinion then I need to do it myself. Like what?

It was rude and not okay. Am I wrong? Am I overreacting?

He thinks it was fine that he said that.

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣

My 6 month old makes no eye contact with me and doesn’t respond when I call him. Can this just be a phase or personality trait as apposed to autism
