Looking for advice on how best to change my LG from Cow &Gate first infant milk to kendamil first infant milk…
Do I change the milk straight away and just discontinue the cow & gate or do I need to introduce her to it by replacing a bottle at a time?

I did this on Wednesday with the same milk and just did a straight swap to kendamil and stopped the cow and gate all together

We switched straight from mamia to aptamil hungry baby milk as our LB was eating loads then back to mamia as it didn’t make a difference to the amount he was eating and mamia is cheaper
We didn’t have any issues with the switch but I think it depends on baby x

did you find this easy? Or did your little one struggle with the swap .. I’m worried she will be more sicky if I do a straight swap x

we did find it easy and he had no issues with eating
And neither when we swapped back to the original formula x

he’s been fine, actually drinks it a bit better - the only thing I’ve found is it needs mixing a bit better than cow and gate

we did introduce a bottle of the new formula but advice online is to replace feeds over a 7 day period until they are all the new formula but I just feel this is a lengthy process and surely would upset baby’s stomach more.. we tried over the past 2 days and she hasn’t done very well with the change so I wanted to know if I was best to just change her over instead of this mixing of them..
I think tomorrow I will start a fresh and just feed her only kendamil and see how she gets on ☺️ thank you!

I did find this when I mixed up the first bottle, the powder itself is more grainy than the cow & gate but the kendamil seemed so much creamier and she seemed to enjoy it, 🤞 when I try tomorrow with a complete swap, I hope she takes to it well as I feel it would be so much better for her ☺️ x

yeah I found that too, my little boy has been much more settled, farting and pooing way more on kendamil so hopefully all goes well for you!!

We have been changing milks when we need to and our baby doesn't seem to bother... What we do is we save a little bit of the previous bottle just to be on the safe side in case we need to rush back to the previous one, but so far we haven't
