Formula fed baby poo

Hi everyone just wanted abit of advise, first time mum and my 8 week old babies poos have gone quite a thick consistency and a light yellow colour, is this normal???

She was on aptamil 1 but was so blocked up and was barely pooing…. We’d be lucky to get one every 3 -4 days, it was becoming abit of an issue so we have swapped to HIPP 1 ORGANIC, and this is day 3 of the change now but since she’s been on it she’s pooed everyday sometimes twice in a day it’s just a thick consistency and a lighter yellow colour… is this okay?

Does this mean she’s getting on with the milk okay? I mean she is pooing now so more than before but it’s just this thicker consistency.

My little girl was on aptamil 1 but my health visitor mentioned the comfort milk, we have her on that now to try, her poop was like a grey chalk colour, she’s had it now since she was changed to comfort milk, but tonight she’s managed to have somewhat a normal poop, sorry it’s not helpful xx

As long it's mustard yellow, try giving baby infacol. My baby had 2 of those and I put her on infacol now all her poops are runny in a healthy way not wateryyy lol they are literally like the mustard sauce ewww....ahahahha... My baby is on Aptamil 1 as well but if you can give her some breast milk that helps too or luke warm boiled water inbetween feeds as she already drinks formula. My princess has at least 1 breast feed a day and infacol before every feed and she doesnt struggle to poop once a day and at least 8 wees. I panicked on her first constipation. If she is like that for more than 72hrs call GP/Midwife might be a health issue xx

Am I overreacting?

My LG goes to nursery 4 days a week (3 half days and 1 full day). We have to provide our own nappies and wipes and were told when they’re running out so we can restock, which is fine.

My issue is, the last few days, my LG has come home in a random nappy from a brand that isn’t hers and she’s started to become sore down there. When my partner brought it up to the baby room manager, her response was ‘oh well, babies are babies, it doesn’t matter and they pull them out the drawers’. For one, the drawers are high up as I’ve seen them so shouldn’t be getting pulled out and 2. If I’m providing nappies, use them because what if the persons nappies being used, can’t afford a lot?

We’ve had no issues with the nursery until this but I wonder if maybe I’m overreacting about it?

Car seats

I’m so sorry if this is a stupid question but I’ve just found out I’m pregnant with my 3rd baby. What happens with car seats in the back of the car? My other two are still in car seats they are nearly 4 & 2? Where will the new born car seat go? Am I being stupid?🤦🏽‍♀️😂😂😂

Visitors of newborn.

I’m feeling a bit anxious about having visitors after I get home from having my baby. I know a baby’s immune system is immature for the first 2 months of life and don’t want her to get any germs.

I am worried about family members turning up and not telling me their poorly like got a cough or viral thing. My question is has anyone ever visited your home and been poorly?

This will be my first C-section but third baby.

How long after your baby’s birth did you have a visitor ie close family like mum / dad /sister / brother?
