Am I overreacting?

My LG goes to nursery 4 days a week (3 half days and 1 full day). We have to provide our own nappies and wipes and were told when they’re running out so we can restock, which is fine.

My issue is, the last few days, my LG has come home in a random nappy from a brand that isn’t hers and she’s started to become sore down there. When my partner brought it up to the baby room manager, her response was ‘oh well, babies are babies, it doesn’t matter and they pull them out the drawers’. For one, the drawers are high up as I’ve seen them so shouldn’t be getting pulled out and 2. If I’m providing nappies, use them because what if the persons nappies being used, can’t afford a lot?

We’ve had no issues with the nursery until this but I wonder if maybe I’m overreacting about it?

I’m a qualified teacher and have experience in nursery. They should be using the nappies you provide for your baby. I would insist if I were you x

And imagine they're using your nappys for more than one child that means yours will run out faster so you end up paying more and visa versa..I mean where do they draw the line..we have to provide our own sun cream and my babys allergic to quiet a few different products does that mean they can use anything they like for other children..its not petty at all nursery's are expensive!!

At first, I thought maybe she’d run out and they forgot to mention it so I asked and they said no she’s got loads🫠 so they’ve said they’ll use only her nappies from now on but it should be like that anyway!

That’s not right one bit. They should use the nappies, especially when you have to provide. I would definitely bring it up with them again. X

Car seats

I’m so sorry if this is a stupid question but I’ve just found out I’m pregnant with my 3rd baby. What happens with car seats in the back of the car? My other two are still in car seats they are nearly 4 & 2? Where will the new born car seat go? Am I being stupid?🤦🏽‍♀️😂😂😂

Advice needed

I keep waking up feeling like a bad mum!
My boy is 13 weeks old, for the last few nights he’s started stirring so I’ve popped his dummy in and he’s gone to sleep. This has resulted in me feeding him at about 4/5am after his last feed at 9/9.30pm. After that feed he won’t wake up fully (just stir and I pop dummy in until about 9/9.30am) I’m not questioning whether if I’m starving him through the night! Should I give him the dummy when he stirs or should I be offering him a feed?
Would he settle with a dummy and go back to sleep if he was actually hungry? As I know through the day when he’s hungry nothing settles him other than the feed so sometimes I have to feed him earlier than the 3 hours he usually goes.
Through the day he’s having about 6 feeds and he’ll take 160ml-170ml each feed. Is this enough to sustain such long gaps through the night? He appears to be gaining weight well , hes fit in 3-6months since bang on 12 weeks and he’s a very happy baby when he’s awake.

Visitors of newborn.

I’m feeling a bit anxious about having visitors after I get home from having my baby. I know a baby’s immune system is immature for the first 2 months of life and don’t want her to get any germs.

I am worried about family members turning up and not telling me their poorly like got a cough or viral thing. My question is has anyone ever visited your home and been poorly?

Can your baby self soothe to sleep?

If so, how did they learn? How did you support them?
