I used the frida maternity pads and they worked for me. It’s just whatever you’re more comfortable with!

Pads but Honestly keep asking for the underwear the hospital provides. Just keep shoving packs in your bag if they don’t say anything cuz they were the most comfortable with a pad

I found the diapers felt more 'safe', especially in the first few days but turns out I'm allergic to them, so I'll be using pads this time around.
I'd advise taking both!

Diapers for sure. I used Always overnight period diapers that worked great.

I used a diaper for the first week just for ease and then after that used pads x

i used frida mom disposable pants with maternity pads inside. they were super comfortable and kept the pad secure so i had no leakage at all x

With my first I used pads and with my second I used diapers. The diapers were wayyyyy more convenient and they were actually quite comfortable. I would recommend diapers in the beginning and pads after a week or so once the bleeding is less.

I liked the diapers but I bought/brought my own nice quality ones to the hospital. It was nice not to have to worry about underwear lol

I used maternity underwear with pads inbuilt and thought it was enough x

1000% diapers then pads when I felt the bleeding was better (about 2 weeks later for me)

Diapers girl

I used the postpartum panties for the first week and then pads

First 5 days frida mum disposable pants and then a maternity pad, after 5 days bleeding was like a small period so i just used normal underwear and period pads x

I used the frieda mom underwear then a massive pad inside that for the first week.. just depends on your bleeding !

Diapers

I preferred pads. I wore a diaper once and realized I’d have to take my pants (I’m not a dress person) off each time to change a diaper. When using a pad I could just rip an old one off my underwear and slap a new one on.

I bought loads of both and preferred the pull-ups if that’s what you mean by diapers. They were sooo comfy. At the start when bleeding was heavy I’d wear 2-3 of them and then when I go toilet, just rip the sides, so that you don’t have to take your trousers off. Dirty one comes off and then the clean one you can pull straight up. Pads just didn’t work for me, I leaked out the sides of them and stained every pair of underwear & leaked on to my clothes.
Plus just uncomfortable if they move/bunch up x

I used the pads from the hospital for the first few days when I was bleeding heavily. Once the bleeding lightened up a bit I used the Always period panties. Super comfy and never leaked through. Looked like I was wearing actual underwear. Plus side my husband thought I looked sexy in them which helped a lot😂
She’s too pushy and I’ve said no endless times. It’ll be very stressful for him. I don’t pump because I don’t like it and my baby doesn’t like bottles. I’m currently trying to break nurse-sleep association. It doesn’t make any sense to attempt a sleepover because it’ll be just stressful for baby and I. I just can’t be asked to keep saying NO. It’s almost harassment. I said it’ll eventually happen once I’m back to work, not while I’m in mat leave as I don’t want to be away from my son yet. How can I approach this in a friendly way? She’s just too much sometimes and I’ve been very friendly and open about the idea, but not about the timing.

Are you letting your toddler have the MMR and chicken pox vaccine?

I’m SURE it’s been asked before, but I’m over a year postpartum and still have no feeling in my scar area. I sometimes get an intense itch that can only stop with wicked hot water but that’s it. Anyone else have the same?

My baby girl is 3 months and already so curious, grabbing things she shouldn’t, touching things that are a bit dirtier than I would like eg the floor and the rugs lol. Then she puts her hands straight in her mouth. I plan to keep sterilising her bottles etc for a while.
But curious when to stop, because at some point they are digesting bacteria anyways? Or is it still important to sterilise up until 1 year because of milk bacteria etc?

My 6 week old is currently waking every hour at night. The only way to put him back to sleep is if I give him my boob again (EBF). He is not really feeding, he uses it as a dummy. I have tried a few dummies and he refuses to take any. Anyone going through this ? Any advice ?
I am not sure how long I can do this for 😓
