Is anyone else experiencing regular painful cramps? I’m 7 weeks + 5 and had a scan the other day which showed baby is fine but I get woken up through the night with such painful cramps every night. I have endometriosis which I had surgery for in January and the pain feels akin to the cramps I used to get pre-surgery…

Yep! Also have endo, excised last august. I’m under an endo specialist at the fertility clinic and he’s said it’s because as your uterus starts to expand and grow, it’s pressing on organs and fresh nerves from surgery. He said it’s only something to worry about when it’s accompanied by bleeding, otherwise should be okay.
It sounds weird but he said it’s a good sign, your body is moving and growing as it should be xx

I’ve been getting bad cramps the last couple of days, I’m 6+4. I think it’s been trapped wind most of the time though 😂

Ah hi, I have endometriosis too! They thought I was ectopic I was that sore but baby is fine and in the right place! Cramps have eased a bit now from about 10 weeks x

oh that’s really interesting, thank you! I’ve wondered if it’s linked to that as the pain is identical but no one seems to have been able to confirm that for me so far! Thank you lovely xx

I have endo too! And yes I've had them on and off, they were soooo bad to start with, but I'm 9 weeks now and they are definitely less frequent, although still there. Doctor said that's normal :) I didn't realise I was pregnant because the cramps were like my usual period cramps. I've also had a scan and all is good x

I have endo and have had endo like cramps most of the time, had 2 internal scans for other reasons and baby was fine but it is worrying especially when it's your first and you're early on
