One of my friends has a baby one month younger than mine, the first month her baby was taking to hospital with a fractured skull, she claimed she’d fallen asleep with the baby on her knee on the bed.
The hospital did X-rays and didn’t believe her, she has been doing court cases for months on end, the baby is now around 5 months I believe.
I don’t know what to think I don’t think I want to be friends with them after all of this.
I have been told it’s really hard to fracture a babies skull and it makes me feel abit sick thinking about it.

F that dont be friends with Her, not worth the risk and you would constantly be thinking abouf it while uph were chatting to Her

Well do you know her for a long time? Is she a caring and kind person?
I don't know I'm horrified with the idea that indeed it was an accident and she's going through hell right now and her friends are leaving her .. imagine it was you ...
But then I don't her at all so it's impossible to know..
Do what feels right for you anyway.

My baby has fallen forwards and hit his head quite hard on a table leg whilst trying to crawl, no injuries apart from a red mark. For there to be a skull fracture there has got to have been a hell of a lot of force there. I don't believe that's accidental at all. Babies fall off of beds and sofas a lot and never get skull fractures. Definitely think she's an abuser. I'd cut ties and keep her away from your children

The hospital are very clever and will only deem it non accidental if they really do think it’s non accidental…. Not to say you need to fall out but just don’t leave your children with her unsupervised

The fact that you’re even questioning it tells you everything you need to know. Cut ties, not worth the risk
this is what I’m thinking if it’s an accident it’s horrible for me as a friend to leave her but I’ve not known her that long to judge, at first I was straight at the hospital supporting her but the more the months have gone by the worse I’ve felt about it because apparently it’s really hard to fracture a babies skull /: so falling from a bed onto carpet makes me question it myself now, also the professionals don’t believe it was an accident and there’s 4 of them, I feel they’d know
@erica ah never so maybe it’s easier than I think, awful to think about I know, just I don’t know what to think of the situation anymore

You've not known her long. You're having doubts in your gut. Yes it is awful for her if it was really an accident, but your priority really is to your children.
