I’ve definitely heard that it’s possible. But both babies have to be in like good health and both head down. And sometimes just one baby is head down. So you could do one Vaginal if that baby is lower and then c section for the second. But it really depends.

I had a Vaginal birth with mine and it really just depends on the doctor and how comfortable they are with it. My baby B flipped once baby A came out which usually means c section right away. But because both my vitals and her vitals were still good they let me continue and ended up flipping her back head down. I’d definitely still stay open to a c section though just in case things don’t work out like you want them to.
Towards the end of your pregnancy please make sure you’re drinking enough water and not overdoing things because twins are very prone to coming early!

Hi! Congrats on your twin pregnancy! I’m curious when your doctor told you that you were officially having twins? I had an ultrasound on Friday measuring two gestational sacs. One at 5wks 2 days and the other at 5wks 0days. But the doc says it’s only a “possibility” of a twin pregnancy and really didn’t make a big deal of it… I was literally expecting just one baby and she comes in saying a twin pregnancy is “possible” !! but can’t be confirmed yet bc there is nothing to visualize in the sacs at this point bc it’s too early. I’m thinking… isn’t it more likely a twin pregnancy at this point than not?! I’m so confused 😕

I ended up having baby A vaginal and baby B c-section this is because baby B flipped after the other baby comes out. Most hospitals have you deliver in the OR regardless of what you decide.

1. 1st baby needs to be head down. The second twin can be wherever they want.
If twin 1 is breech, there is a chance that their heads can get caught on each other if twin 2 is cephalic.
2. I've seen LOADS of beautiful twin deliveries. As a second time mum, there is absolutely no reason not to go for it. Unless you don't want to.
3. There are a few things that are different. Once twin 1 is delivered, there can be a bit of a wait for twin 2. Someone usually holds them so they're either breech or cephalic (it doesn't really matter which) and you wait for them to come down into the pelvis.
4. Most people have an epidural in case some manoeuvring of twin 2 is needed.
5. There is a small chance (5%) that you might have a vaginal birth with twin 1 and a section for twin 2.
6. Most twins are induced between 37 and 38 weeks but this cam be earlier if there are concerns about growth or later if mum wants
7. 2nd labours tend to be a hell of a lot easier than first ones. Even if you are induced and even with twins. Xx

I went in at 6 wks 4 days bc I was feeling so horrible this pregnancy I was worried. That’s when we found out it was twins. They both had heartbeats that could be seen flickering at that point.

Awe 🥹 that’s so amazing to just go in for your first ultrasound and see two heartbeats! At this point I’ve had two ultrasounds bc my dates were off and I still haven’t seen anything definitive. It’s been frustrating so my next ultrasound will be at 7wks 5days bc I’m tired of no answers 😩
