I'm having my second c-section in 9 weeks
Ig I've heard the recovery process is kinda longer for the second one
But you will do fine momma
Just don't stress your body out to mich and take your time to recover

aww thank you huni how old will your 2 babies be apart.

I’ve heard that planned ones aren’t as bad as they’re not “rushing” as much to get baby out. A lot of people have said how calm they are so hopefully that’s how your experience goes x

I had a planned one in July. I was very nervous leading up to it, and wish I hadn’t, as it was such a calm experience. We were allowed to bring in a playlist, but tbh me and my partner were just chatting and kind of distracting ourselves and didn’t pay attention to the music. The biggest issue we had was getting the cannular in as my veins are rubbish. My recovery was better than I expected - I managed to get out for a walk on day 4, and week after I realised at some point I had stopped clock watching for medication time. I was able to hold my girl straight after, and never had a problem picking her up. Getting out of bed was a struggle, make sure you have things around to pull yourself up on, and it makes it easier. Take a pillow with you, it’s great for pushing against your stomach on drive home. Also long T-shirts or nightdress etc so you don’t have to worry about bending to pull bottoms up.

Planned c sections are much easier to recover from. I had my planned when my eldest was 18 months old and I recovered much quicker despite it being my second and having a toddler to look after as well
