Please someone help me figure out how to ween my 8 month old onto formula. I want to end my breastfeeding journey, it’s getting too much. But my little one refuses the bottle! I try offering her during the day but she just spits the milk out! Is there a method to this I don’t know about?

What part is getting too much?
I find formula feeding so much harder work than breastfeeding.
Waking to make bottles with baby screaming, having to remember to take it out with us, planning outings around formula feeds. Finding the money for the tubs of formula, cost of finding the right bottle, cost of changing bottles when that no longer works.
With breastfeeding I could just whip it out and not need to carry anything. It was generally free too. (Aside the times I needed pump, but that wasn’t for all babies.)
But maybe there are tricks and tips to help make it easier for you? Finding a bottle is so stressful, there are alternative options too.

Some switch by mixing milk and formula in a bottle - often this puts them off both milks and rarely works.
The generally rule is replace one feed at a time with formula instead of breast. But you still need to pump/express milk at the feeds (to comfort not to empty) because just going cold turkey leads to mastitis.
