You get up to £12570 a year tax free, so if you've not gone over that then you won't pay any. But obviously it depends how much you've already earned in that financial year.

It depends on how much you've earned in that tax year up to that point so it really varies per person and depending on what time of year you have baby.

As the ladies have mentioned above you will be taxed as per the standard income tax rules. Best thing to do is work out your income for that financial year and pop it into the online calculator. Also remember to update your expected income on the HMRC app, this should help in not been over charged and awaiting a rebate 👍
