So i went to my 12 week scan today I am currently 11 weeks 5 days. They did the scan and nothing showed up! They told my mum while I went to the toilet that something showed up that indicated that I was pregnant but nothing had grown. They sent me to early pregnancy unit, they did a test and it came back negative! I just don’t understand it because I’ve got all the symptoms, I’ve got a bump and I’ve had no period since June!
Me and the baby’s dad ain’t together we decided to stay friends! He didn’t come to the scan so how do I tell him this! Because I know he’ll walk away, we only stayed friends and he was only staying because of the baby.

Have they got you booked in for another scan??

no, they did a test that came back negative then sent me home

I’m so sorry they treated you this way and that you’re going through this.

It sounds like you’ve experienced a missed miscarriage, but they should have explained this to you and also shared options for you. The pregnancy may pass naturally or they should have offered pills or a procedure to help you pass it AND provided you with some emotional support.

For many people the symptoms continue even when growth has stopped which is so cruel.

I experienced something similar a few years back and broke up with my then Boyfriend at the time. Although you both made the baby, some men find it so easy to just walk away when there is a loss which feels awful and doubly sad. Surround yourself by people who can care for you and know that all the emotions you feel around this are valid.

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!

I am so done with pregnancy !

Everything i do hurt . I sit down / i stand up / i walk / i lie down. I am in pain ! I am tired ! His mouvement hurt down there like electricity chock ! My back is on fire ! If i walk more then 5 minutes i feel like i am going to die ( low ferritine) the acid reflux is crazy . I mean i can’t and don’t wanna do this no more . Only 31 weeks !

Almost 37 weeks + told to do another growth scan

I just had my second to last doctor’s appointment this morning, and my OB told me she wants me to do another growth scan because my belly is measuring small. She says it’s probably just because I’m a smaller woman, but they like to be safe. It’s hard to hear though, since I just did one a couple months ago.

I did this with my firstborn around this time of pregnancy, so I do think I just carry smaller (even though I don’t feel like I look “small” at all). My first baby was 6lbs 15oz when she was born at 41 weeks + 2 days. I’m having this baby at 39 weeks on April 7. I hope she’s still at least 6lbs.

Anyone have any stories similar to this?
