What wrap sling do you use and what are the things you like and dislike most about them? For the non-single moms out there, do you share the same wrap with your partner?

I just have a regular baby carrier. I didn't think I was qualified to try to wrap it around myself and baby. 🤣
I would imagine you and your partner could use the same one 🤷♀️

I have the Kyte baby ring sling and love it so much. I wish I had it with my first. I had the ergobaby aura wrap with her and loved it at the time but the ring sling is so much better in my opinion. Bit of a learning curve same as any wrap or sling but once you get the hang of it it's SO easy and convenient.

My husband could never get the hang of soft carriers so he never really used them. He carried them way more when they were a bit bigger and we were using our baby Bjorn which is a much heftier carrier lol

ahaha, I’m with you! That’s why I was hoping to find something more elaborate than a “wide scarf” 😀

thank you, Becca! I haven’t seen the one sided ring slings before. I like it! Do they allow the baby to move from sleeping to sitting positions? Also, since there’s no tie around the lower back, does it make it easier or harder on the lower back?

no, they stay in a "sitting" sort of frog position with their knees above their butt, but still very comfortable for sleeping. My guy napped almost exclusively in the ring sling for the first few months haha. I found it very comfortable to wear when he was small but the heavier he got the more it put pressure on the one shoulder. That was probably around the time I switched to a more structured carrier for walks and longer outings. But he still napped in the sling until about 10 months or so. Even now at 14 months I still stick him in it on clingy days lol

Oh, another thing I really like about the Kyte sling is the stiffer fabric. I found I was frequently having to re-tie the stretchy wrap because it would start to sag after a while. Also, the ring sling looks much cuter lol 😅

yeah! I was also curious to read about the benefits of bamboo over organic cotton. Up until now I thought organic cotton is the way to go, but I guess there’s more reading to do 🤷♀️😀
Thank you so much!!

@Diana if you are open to the regular baby carrier, I have this one. It's super easy to use. Baby can also be fwd facing if you want, so they can look out and see the world.
