I’ve ballooned out the last couple of weeks and my stomach is very tight. Baby is still moving regularly but she’s gone from hard kicks to eel-under-the-skin rustlings, tight patches and pulse-like soft movements. Is anyone else experiencing this? My partner things is where she’s squished and can’t move as much. This is my first baby and I’m unsure.

Same here! 31+5 today and baby’s movements have definitely softened.

Definitely could just be how she’s laying! If she’s moving regularly then there shouldn’t be much to worry about. You can always call your doctor if it feels off!!

I’m the same I’m 33+3 and baby now feels like they’re rolling around rather than kicking a lot, I still get some jerky movements where my stomach bounces but other than that it’s a foot in my ribs or thier bum and back pushed really hard out at the top or side of my stomach

I am starting to feel the same about more rolling or bigger longer movements than jabs. I think it's because they're getting bigger so less space for them so they're sort of stretching against the stomach rather than freedom to kick out and not hit you all the time. So restricting them I suppose. But if you ever feel worried that the movements have reduced a lot or you can't get them to move with your normal tricks do ring up x

I asked you midwife and she said you'll start to feel more shifts, rolls, stretches etc as they get bigger, I'm 34 + 4 now and have started to get a couple more kicks again this week but definitely not as much room as before and I mostly feel the roll movements.

I’m 35 and mine is like this. Think little one just has no space.

I'm 32+5 and I'm definitely experiencing the same! I get the odd hard kick but mostly just movements under the skin as he's got bigger xx

I’m 32+4 and feel exactly the same! Not big kicks just movements from moving around and repositioning it feels

Yes I'm also 33 + 6 and it's exactly what you're describing! Feels like they're a whale moving under the surface of the water a lot of the time

Same here since about 29/30 weeks xx
